Minimum Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited two or four year college or university; or at a technical school taking college level courses. Successful completion of criminal history background investigation is required prior to employment. **UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT $18.00/HOUR** **GRADUATE STUDENT $18.50/HOUR**
Position Summary
The GIS Intern will assist the GIS Specialist/Analyst in supporting GIS applications in the Public Works department. This position will focus on the integration of geospatial technologies within existing County business processes and workflows, updating geospatial data layers, adding attribute data and maintenance, improvements within GIS databases, and working with various Public Works divisions to compile necessary information.
Preferred education tracts - Geography, Geomatics, Urban Planning, or Civil Engineering.
