The Kennedy Center is the nation’s cultural center and living memorial to President John F. Kennedy. Located on the banks of the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., the Center presents performances across all genres, and is also home to artistic affiliates Washington National Opera and National Symphony Orchestra.

Job Description
This position is for a strong SQL Developer with experience in combining multiple data sources into data warehouse or data lake for the purpose of creating reports and data visualizations from both transactional systems and analytic databases or data warehouses. This position will be responsible for creating and editing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, editing or authoring stored procedures, views, functions and other database objects to support reporting and database jobs. The database environments are SQL Server and Amazon Redshift Data Warehouse. This position will understand a variety of AWS Data & Analytics services and how they interact. They will be responsible for the support of the daily/weekly/monthly and ad hoc loading and transformation of data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The tools currently used include SQL Server, AWS Data Migration Service, AWS Glue Notebooks, S3 buckets, Data Pipeline, SageMaker Notebooks, and QuickSight for data Visualization, Dashboards and scheduled report delivery.
This position will enjoy working with a diverse set of users to understand their data and reporting needs, can thoroughly document and communicate complex business rules and reporting needs, and can creatively solve problems with data and reporting with innovative ideas. Experience with data analysis, the ability to see trends, spot outliers, and solve problems in data are required.
