The Assistant Manager of Individual Giving, WNO will work with the Director of Individual Giving and Operations, WNO in the management and long-term development of the WNO Circles Campaign (donors $1,800 - $24,999) including cultivation, acquisition, stewardship, and ongoing maintenance for both unrestricted and restricted contributions. Experience in annual campaign strategy is preferred,
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for generating solicitations and donor correspondence on behalf of WNO senior leadership. This position will also ensure fulfillment of donor benefits by liaising with contributors via all forms of communication, managing the campaign’s renewal schedule, assisting in the planning process of stewardship events, maintaining proper donor crediting and utilizing departmental systems with regards to gift processing and the storing and maintenance of personal donor information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
This position must be able to exercise discretion in order to prioritize assignments and work under significant pressure, as many projects are time sensitive and involve concurrent deadlines and donor interaction. Prepares acknowledgments and tax receipts, etc. of varying length and complexity;
Completes timely gift entry forms and ensures accuracy of all billing and contributions;

Works closely with colleagues on Prospect Development, Intelligence, and Analytics team to coordinate prospect/research briefings and qualification of new prospects for the WNO Circles program
Identifies opportunities for gift increases within current program donors in coordination with the Prospect Development, Intelligence, and Analytics team
Actively stewards and solicits WNO Circles donors through in person, telephone, email, and written communication;
Maintains accurate donor records
Participates in fundraising and general stewardship by:

Experience managing a high-performing team that met or exceeded goals, through effective goal-setting, prioritization, delegation, and team-building.
Ability to collaborate across a matrixed organization to leverage the expertise of other departments, work together to effect change and achieve shared goals
Knowledge and training in fundraising principles, development trends, and non-profit management or Board engagement. Understanding of large cultural institutions is beneficial.
Experience developing and implementing specific fundraising strategies with timeliness and success while maintaining flexibility as the needs of donors and the priorities of the Kennedy Center changes.
Experience with Tessitura or nonprofit experience with a CRM database is preferred.

The Business Systems Analyst will join the Information Technology Department at the Kennedy Center, reporting to the Director of Information Systems. The Kennedy Center I.T. The Senior Payroll Manager will manage the development and implementation of all aspects of payroll, health and welfare benefits and intrinsic benefits. The position will assist in managing outside vendors and be responsible for legal and regulatory compliance within the payroll and benefits areas. This position will regularly interface with all levels of employees including executive management. This position will also work closely with the finance department.

Responsible for all Payroll processing, tax filing, garnishments and levy’s, accruals and other payroll related functions.
Point of contact for all employee related inquiries for payroll, accruals, garnishments etc.
Manages and runs Payroll on a weekly basis.
Keys Payroll entries into system as necessary.
Maintains high degree of confidentiality of all Payroll records.
Must maintain appropriate payroll records for all employees that utilize leave benefits such as STD, LTD, FMLA etc.
Maintains accurate accruals and tracking for all employees with vacation and sick time

Job Description
The Senior Payroll Manager will manage the development and implementation of all aspects of payroll, health and welfare benefits and intrinsic benefits. The position will assist in managing outside vendors and be responsible for legal and regulatory compliance within the payroll and benefits areas. This position will regularly interface with all levels of employees including executive management. This position will also work closely with the finance department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all Payroll processing, tax filing, garnishments and levy’s, accruals and other payroll related functions.
Point of contact for all employee related inquiries for payroll, accruals, garnishments etc.
Manages and runs Payroll on a weekly basis.
Keys Payroll entries into system as necessary.
Maintains high degree of confidentiality of all Payroll records.
Must maintain appropriate payroll records for all employees that utilize leave benefits such as STD, LTD, FMLA etc.
Maintains accurate accruals and tracking for all employees with vacation and sick time
Updates system with all documentation needed in order to properly maintain system and utilize it to its fullest measure
Must continue to learn and keep abreast of legal changes that impact payroll and Human Resources department
Calculates and validates monthly, quarterly and/or annual bonuses for all staff levels.
Educates and ensures that all Business Justification Forms are filled out appropriately and maintained for legal compliance of compensation adjustments.
Assist in managing the performance management process consisting of the preparation of merit rating spreadsheets, performance reviews, and corresponding communication materials distributed to management in conjunction with the process.
Works on special projects and other duties as required helping to promote department’s success.
Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position of Payroll
Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned payroll processes
Assure timeliness and accuracy of required filings. Maintains employee files, both physical and electronic according to record retention rules.

4 year college degree preferred in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, and/or Legal

The Talent Acquisition & Internship Coordinator creates all marketing material and promotes the Kennedy Center internship program, administers the intern applications and oversees the intern selection process. They also administer and process entry paperwork and intern orientation, and serves as the HR point of contact for the interns while they are participating in the program.
Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for creating the term schedule, including internal and external opportunities and networking events for the Kennedy Center interns to connect with the greater DC metro arts management field. The coordinator oversees the Kennedy Center Fellowship in Arts Management Program, working closely with partners and senior staff to place and manage the fellows.
The Coordinator is a member of the Talent Acquisition team and provides recruiting support for Assistant and Coordinator level positions as assigned. The Coordinator also collaborates with other employees in the Human Resources department on HR initiatives.

30% Internship Program Coordination: Coordinate every aspect of the internship program, from managing orientation day to the intern appreciation breakfast. 20% Marketing, Promotion and Networking: Create digital and print marketing materials for a variety of audiences, post advertisements on collegiate job boards, build and maintain relationships with college career centers and internship placement organizations , attend career fairs and conduct site visits to local colleges, connect with local intern groups for networking, research ways to increase diversity in applicants, maintain Kennedy Center Internship alumni group.
15% Recruiting: Run the process workflow for internal staffing requisitions, KC job postings, external job board management, resume and application screening, and communication with hiring managers throughout recruitment process. Ensure applicant tracking system candidate and requisition files are updated regularly to track status of candidates throughout recruitment and selection process. 20% Marketing, Promotion and Networking: Create digital and print marketing materials for a variety of audiences, post advertisements on collegiate job boards, build and maintain relationships with college career centers and internship placement organizations , attend career fairs and conduct site visits to local colleges, connect with local intern groups for networking, research ways to increase diversity in applicants, maintain Kennedy Center Internship alumni group.
15% Recruiting: Run the process workflow for internal staffing requisitions, KC job postings, external job board management, resume and application screening, and communication with hiring managers throughout recruitment process. Ensure applicant tracking system candidate and requisition files are updated regularly to track status of candidates throughout recruitment and selection process. Support the Talent Acquisition Manager and Director of Talent Acquisition with recruiting tasks.
15% Administration: Create and process all entry paperwork for interns and other new hires, including contracts, I9s, handbooks, and term schedules. Throughout the term, track event attendance, ticket requests, and evaluations and feedback forms.
10 % Internship Program Development: Oversee and address concerns of interns and staff and make program changes accordingly, develop new initiatives in professional development and education for the internship and fellowship programs. Advance critical project work as required including, but not limited to, department budget forecasting and allocation, focus and evaluation of employee onboarding & orientation, strategizing and delivering opportunities to promote the Kennedy Center as a premier employer both externally and internally, and ongoing evaluation and improvement of HR processes and policies.

Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required.
7+ years of related experience is required.
PHR or SPHR strongly preferred.
