Job Description The Manager, Theater Programming works with VP & Executive Producer of Theater to manage the operations of the department’s presentations and self-produced shows. In addition to managing budgets and contracts, they will serve as the primary point of contact for production logistics and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The Manager must be able to make decisions and exercise discretion in order to prioritize assignments and work under pressure, as many projects are time sensitive and involve concurrent deadlines. Key Responsibilities Manages logistics, under the guidance of the VP, for 50% of all Theater Programming presentations and productions, working with external agencies, communicating with artists and agents, and working with internal staff to coordinate education, special events and legal issues. Serves in many similar capacities as a General Manager for assigned produced theatrical productions including contracting creative teams, stage management, and artists. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Initiate, cultivate, and secure creative agency partnerships with companies and nonprofits through outside sales tactics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Initiate, cultivate, and secure creative agency partnerships with companies and nonprofits through outside sales tactics.
Develop comprehensive knowledge of creative products, packaging and pricing.
Craft compelling sales message and sales materials in partnership with the Director of Sponsorship and Chief Creative Officer.
Plan and conduct sales presentations.
Negotiate and finalize contracts.
Secure clients and meet or exceed revenue goals.
Manage and grow ongoing client relationships.
Maintain up-to-date account and prospect information, including contact management information and affidavits.
Work with producers, editors, writers, animators and other creative team members to ensure client satisfaction.
Coordinate payment schedules with Accounts Receivable.
Plan and conduct team sales calls including staff from Creative Works, Sponsorship and other departments as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of the Cascade PBS

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

Works closely with marketing managers and digital marketing agency on content for paid digital media campaigns to sell tickets and promote events Provides social media coverage on the ground in real time for Kennedy Center events and programming, including regular evening and weekend coverage on- and off-site. Monitors customer service inquiries across all platforms and directs questions or patron concerns to appropriate staff members. Engages influencers and monitors relevant user-generated content to amplify where applicable. Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications 2-4 years proven experience in the digital and social space Bachelor’s degree Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferable, but not required Intensive knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Medium, and YouTube Healthy appetite for spotting, assessing, and taking advantage of trends Excellent verbal and written communication skills High personal productivity Strong relationship building skills Ability to think creatively and provide innovative ideas and solutions Interest in/knowledge of the performing arts Good work ethic, high standards, strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment essential Working knowledge of Photoshop, Creative Suite, video and audio editing software and basic HTML a plus Familiarity with/passion for one or more of the following Kennedy Center programming categories a plus: Washington National Opera, Hip Hop and Contemporary Music, Jazz, National Symphony Orchestra

Key Responsibilities Ingest media and organize files for the Kennedy Center’s network-attached storage (NAS) Transcode proxy files and transfer project contents onto editors’ working hard drives Sync and multi-cam footage Send synced outputs for transcription with appropriate timecodes Upload synced dailies for producer/director review Ensure that all editors’ projects are operating in an organized fashion according to the Kennedy Center’s workflow practices Track editorial assets and media for the creative team and update post-production resources accordingly Organize footage selects Conform and prep locked sequences for color, finishing, and audio mix Depending on the project, the assistant editor may handle final conform and delivery of assets Understand quality control protocols and workflows Technical know-how and problem-solving skills for on-the-fly equipment/software fixes Key Qualifications Programs and Skills: Adobe Premiere Pro, Mac OS, and Adobe Creative Suite.
