Job Overview:
The Middle School Math Teacher provides engaging and effective classroom instruction in mathematics and supports students in realizing our Guiding Principles. Depending on the experience and interests of the candidate, this position could work with students ranging from grades 5 though 8 (including high school level Geometry), collaborating closely with our math team and learning specialists.

Qualifications
Required Education, Training & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree, with an emphasis in a math and/or education-related area from a four-year college or university required.
Master’s Degree in middle school mathematics education preferred.
3+ years of combined teaching experience required.
Experience in teaching math courses at the middle school level.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Familiarity with current learning theories and basic principles of human growth and development and ability to consider them in the design and implementation of learning experiences.
Knowledge of current trends and research in learning and assessment.
Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics to create a positive and productive learning environment for all students.

The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is seeking a Coordinator to manage UNR Med's Student Affairs Programs for medical students.
The primary function of the Program Coordinator is to develop, implement, promote, manage, and evaluate Student Affairs programs for medical students to support an optimal experience throughout their medical education. The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is seeking a Coordinator to manage UNR Med's Student Affairs Programs for medical students.
The primary function of the Program Coordinator is to develop, implement, promote, manage, and evaluate Student Affairs programs for medical students to support an optimal experience throughout their medical education. Job Description
The Sanford Center for Aging at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine invites applications for the role of Program Coordinator, Senior Outreach Services (SOS). This grant-funded program is part of Community Services and provides volunteer-based companionship to Washoe County elders living at home who are lonely, isolated and looking for a friend. The SOS Coordinator will prioritize client and volunteer service and identify community resources to address client needs; administer in-home client assessments; assist the Director to identify and implement quality improvements; successfully match clients with trained volunteers; conduct outreach to targeted populations; measure, analyze and report on grant output goals; and maintain accurate client and volunteer data. This position reports to the Director of Community Services.
At the Sanford Center for Aging, we are committed to dispelling ageism and providing compassionate care and service to our community's older adult population. The ideal candidate in this role will share our mission to serve, and demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and active listening communication skills, management of distinct priorities on differing timelines, adaptability and an eye for detail and organization. Job Description
The Sanford Center for Aging at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine invites applications for the role of Program Coordinator, Senior Outreach Services (SOS). This grant-funded program is part of Community Services and provides volunteer-based companionship to Washoe County elders living at home who are lonely, isolated and looking for a friend. The SOS Coordinator will prioritize client and volunteer service and identify community resources to address client needs; administer in-home client assessments; assist the Director to identify and implement quality improvements; successfully match clients with trained volunteers; conduct outreach to targeted populations; measure, analyze and report on grant output goals; and maintain accurate client and volunteer data. This position reports to the Director of Community Services.

Organize and execute technical workshops and trainings on AIS issues, and coordinate and attend meetings with partners and stakeholders on AIS-related topics.
Assist with local coordination of activities for an AIS spread prevention solution project, including environmental monitoring, data collection, spread prevention and rapid response activities.
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have a passion and interest in preserving and advancing water quality in the Lake Champlain basin. We are seeking candidates with:
A master’s degree in environmental science, public health, biology, communications, public relations, or related field and at least five years of related professional or technical experience.
Knowledge and experience with aquatic invasive species and aquatic ecology.
Experience with or an interest in technical data communication, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within diverse groups with varying knowledge and priorities.
Knowledge of or experience with Lake Champlain Basin resource issues and understanding of federal and New York State environmental laws and regulations is a plus.

Position Logistics
This full-time NEIWPCC position will work 7.5 hours per day and is based in the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation office in Warrensburg, NY. Duties will be performed largely as outdoor field assignments or community group meetings and will require travel to locations in New York, Vermont and Quebec, for which a private means of transportation will be required. Must possess and maintain a valid New York State driver’s license as well as a valid passport or smart license. After six months, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, subject to approval and program needs. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
