Annual Salary Range: $76,163.86 - $136,662.25

Role
This position will perform economic research and analysis on regional economic and fiscal issues. This position will support activities and programs across the Agency, including Planning, Grants, Capital Projects, and Finance.

Expectations of this role include ability to: perform analysis with limited supervision; deliver high quality output in a timely manner; participate in the development, dissemination, and presentation of research findings; desire to work in team environment; approach projects with curiosity and a “customer” focus.

This position may be filled at the Analyst II or Associate Analyst level.

Typical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or a related field. An advanced degree in economics, public policy, or econometrics is preferred.
  • At least one year, preferably three years of recent experience in applied economics or a related field, preferably in the public policy arena.
  • Strong programming skills (R, SQL, Python), familiarity with GIS desirable.
  • Knowledge of economic research methods.
  • Proficiency using IMPLAN and REMI is desirable.
