Typical duties include:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and evaluations using a wide variety of commercial and SEC databases.
- Use data mining to collect, analyze and interpret structured and unstructured information.
- Create scalable tools, dashboards, visualizations or interactive features with software such as Python or R, Power BI, Tableau, and/or ArcGIS applications, and using the results of quantitative analyses to tell compelling stories.
- Identify data needs and employ appropriate methods for data collection, extraction, integration, preparation, quality, and governance from internal and external sources to meet customer expectations.
- Utilize various programming languages (Python, R and SQL), analytic techniques, and tools to develop statistical algorithms and models, automate data conditioning and analysis, support machine learning, and generate visualizations for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
- Perform time series, geospatial, and geospatial temporal data analysis and mining in ArcGIS/QGIS and programmatically in Python/R.
- Perform complex and difficult data and analytics assignments to ensure program goals and project objectives are met.
