Technology Manager II - Extended

The Position
This position will develop a comprehensive technology strategy for the bureau.  It will be key in ensuring a unified approach to technology at PWB, considering all groups when investments in technology are made, ensuring new technologies work cohesively with existing technology and data platforms, and that technology decisions are made as part of a comprehensive plan/program.

The Technology Manager oversees four program areas:

• Water Asset Management System: Implementation of a new asset management system that will replace PWB’s current work order system to support the lifecycle management of $16.3 billion worth of assets. 
• Cybersecurity: Develop and implement a cybersecurity Continuity of Operations Plan. 
• Smart Utility & Bureau Technology: Database and Application services management across bureau platforms. 
• Filtration Program: Oversight for Filtration Technology Workgroup.
