Job Overview
The primary function of the Social Media Manager is to propose, develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies that align with our clients' brand identities, business objectives, and campaign strategies leveraging current trends to increase efficacy.
This role is responsible for creating and curating engaging content across multiple platforms to support campaign strategies across all relevant social channels. Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to support various types of campaigns involving mental health, public health, the environment, public transportation, and others to reach both broad and defined/ hard-to-reach audiences.
Create engaging and compelling content across various social media platforms.
Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and insights to optimize content and strategy, providing regular reports on key metrics and campaign performance.
Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and community management.
Create and present strategic, insightful reports to client complete with recommendations and learnings when relevant
Foster and grow online communities through proactive engagement and relationship building.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging channels, social media best practices, and platform updates to incorporate into campaign strategies.
Collaborate closely with the Creative team to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.
Generate new ideas and innovative strategies to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy for our campaigns.
Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and deliverables, ensuring alignment with their goals.
Work with Social Media Influencers in the following capacity:
Assist or lead in social media Influencer identification and selection.
Influencer relationship building.
Campaign strategy and planning.
Content collaboration.
Campaign management.
Performance tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management. (Sharing your portfolio is a plus!)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Comfort in creating and presenting client ready POVs, recommendations and reports
Willingness to embrace the unknown and evolve deliverables and skillset based on client or campaign needs
Demonstrated ability to develop creative and engaging content that aligns with campaign goals.
Proficiency in social media analytics tools and experience in using data to inform decisions and improve performance.
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with community management and building online communities.
Experience managing influencer campaigns.
Success in working collaboratively across disciplines
