This role is pivotal in driving the strategic productivity of workplace climates through conflict resolution, fostering an inclusive and equitable campus climate. Duties & Responsibilities • Supervise dispute resolution services, ensuring effective and timely resolution of disputes. • Careful preliminary assessment of pre-mediation meetings while ensuring the issues are relevant for mediation in alignment with current university procedures and compliance needs. • Provide strategic analysis of the dispute with a full understanding of potential solutions for de-escalation. • Consult with faculty as part of the required Faculty Grievance process. • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify areas for improvement in campus climate through data-driven recommendations and strategic foresight with university leadership. • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops focused on dispute resolution, prevention, and culture change in alignment with current university procedures and compliance needs. • Collaborate with colleges, academic units, and departments to provide strategic direction of unit assessments in accordance with relevant university policies and procedures. • Evaluate the effectiveness of dispute resolution services and training programs and adjust as needed to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with campus needs. • Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission and goals of the Office for Access and Equity. • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications • Master's degree in a relevant field such as human resources, organizational development, education, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in dispute resolution, mediation certification, organizational development, or a related area. • Demonstrated experience in conducting needs assessments and making data-driven recommendations. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective training programs and workshops.
