The PE Teacher works to provide an optimal physical education program for students in PreK-Grade 4. Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree, with an emphasis in early childhood, elementary and/or middle school education, with Physical Education endorsement, expertise or related areas from a four-year college or university required
Certification in the field of Physical Education or related areas preferred
3+ years of combined teaching experience preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Familiarity with current learning theories and basic principles of human growth and development and ability to consider them in the design and implementation of learning experiences
Knowledge of current trends and research in learning and assessment
Ability to manage the non-instructional human dynamics in the educational setting
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the children and program
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a Windows based environment that values educational technology

Under the general direction of the Associate Director for Slug Support, the Slug Support Case Manager for Graduate Students serves as the nexus of information and integration for the campus' response to graduate students and international students experiencing varying degrees of need and/or distress. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. • Demonstrated experience in crisis management, crisis intervention, and case management with college students and emerging adults. • Broad knowledge of health care, mental health care, crisis management, and services. The Bioinformatics Center at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team, available immediately. As the center is growing and expanding to support a variety of omics and data research, we are actively seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow, who is interested in bioinformatics, data science, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, multi-omics and/or related fields, to join our team and help us expand our supported services and research fields. The postdoctoral fellow will assist on selected ongoing projects and is encouraged to learn cutting-edge technologies and to explore new research areas. Applications to NIH/NSF grants and fellowships will be highly encouraged. The center supports a variety of career paths and as such the postdoctoral fellow will be mentored by at least two faculty, the director of the center and one academic tenure-track faculty.
The postdoctoral fellow will work on high-dimensional multi-omics data sets, for example WGS, WES, RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, proteomics and /or metagenomics. They will work closely with experimental life scientists for example to develop tools and analyze genomic (e.g., RNA-Seq, ChIP-seq, scRNA-seq) and epigenetic (PTM and DNA methylation) data using novel and previously published NGS datasets. As a team, the center performs integrated multi-omics, statistical, data science, and bioinformatics analyses applied to a variety of scientific problems. The postdoctoral fellow will have access to training opportunities.
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to perform bioinformatics related research and develop analysis pipelines and relevant software programs in collaboration and under the supervision of the center's director and an academic faculty mentor. The postdoc fellow is expected to publish their research outcomes and to help other researchers in preparing manuscripts. They will be encouraged to improve their teaching skills by developing and providing workshops for undergraduate and graduate students as well as for research faculty.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and mentoring conducted in a dynamic academic core environment.
Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. in bioinformatics, data science, computational sciences, statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of Python or R programming experience.
• Experience in bash/shell scripting and Linux environment (Ubuntu), applied statistics, high-dimensional omics data analytics for at least one type of omics.
• Excellent writing skills and independent and critical thinking ability.
• Completion of a doctoral degree in the appropriate discipline is required.
• The doctoral degree must have been completed within the five years immediately preceding the first date of appointment as a postdoctoral fellow at the University.
• The individual cannot have held previous positions in the professional ranks.

Job Description
The Bioinformatics Center at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team, available immediately. We are accepting applications from talented and enthusiastic candidates who are interested in joining an integrated and diverse team of scientists to support a broad spectrum of research projects. unr.edu/bioinformatics

As the center is growing and expanding to support a variety of omics and data research, we are actively seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow, who is interested in bioinformatics, data science, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, multi-omics and/or related fields, to join our team and help us expand our supported services and research fields. The postdoctoral fellow will assist on selected ongoing projects and is encouraged to learn cutting-edge technologies and to explore new research areas. Applications to NIH/NSF grants and fellowships will be highly encouraged. The center supports a variety of career paths and as such the postdoctoral fellow will be mentored by at least two faculty, the director of the center and one academic tenure-track faculty.
The postdoctoral fellow will work on high-dimensional multi-omics data sets, for example WGS, WES, RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, proteomics and /or metagenomics. They will work closely with experimental life scientists for example to develop tools and analyze genomic (e.g., RNA-Seq, ChIP-seq, scRNA-seq) and epigenetic (PTM and DNA methylation) data using novel and previously published NGS datasets. As a team, the center performs integrated multi-omics, statistical, data science, and bioinformatics analyses applied to a variety of scientific problems. The postdoctoral fellow will have access to training opportunities.
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to perform bioinformatics related research and develop analysis pipelines and relevant software programs in collaboration and under the supervision of the center's director and an academic faculty mentor. The postdoc fellow is expected to publish their research outcomes and to help other researchers in preparing manuscripts. They will be encouraged to improve their teaching skills by developing and providing workshops for undergraduate and graduate students as well as for research faculty.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and mentoring conducted in a dynamic academic core environment.
Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. in bioinformatics, data science, computational sciences, statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of Python or R programming experience.
• Experience in bash/shell scripting and Linux environment (Ubuntu), applied statistics, high-dimensional omics data analytics for at least one type of omics.
• Excellent writing skills and independent and critical thinking ability.
• Completion of a doctoral degree in the appropriate discipline is required.
• The doctoral degree must have been completed within the five years immediately preceding the first date of appointment as a postdoctoral fellow at the University.
• The individual cannot have held previous positions in the professional ranks.

Position Summary
The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) and the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund are seeking a Senior Communication Strategist (Coordinator III) to lead and implement proactive public relations campaigns. The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) and the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund are seeking a Senior Communication Strategist (Coordinator III) to lead and implement proactive public relations campaigns. This position will oversee the design and production of compelling materials including print collateral, media releases, reports, e-newsletters, online content, and interactive engagement tools. The Senior Communication Strategist will work closely with the BPS Communications Team in support of PCEF's communications needs.
This position is one of two PCEF Senior Communication Strategists and will serve as the PCEF storyteller. The successful applicant will have the essential role of sourcing emergent examples of community work and showcasing stories that illustrate the impact of the fund. Working closely with PCEF communications staff and the BPS Communications teams, the Senior Communication Strategist will also organize and execute marketing, materials production, and media relations activities with discretion and awareness of intergovernmental and community issues. As a Senior Communications Strategist, you will:
• Plan and Implement communications needs: Meet regularly with PCEF communications team, community partners, and supervisor to understand critical needs, project goals, and timelines. Develop and implement strategic communication plans that advance PCEF goals, including writing/editing press releases, coordinating media responses, drafting talking points and responding to ongoing communications needs. • Create and share compelling stories: Use creative and community-centered approaches to tell compelling stories of community-led work enabled by PCEF grants. Assess and utilize appropriate platforms to determine where stories should be told and amplified while increasing public awareness and highlighting achievements. • Work with local and national media: In close coordination with the BPS Communications Director, pitch stories of PCEF impact to local and national media, coordinate media responses, and develop public responses that explain positions in a timely manner. • Support community-engagement efforts: Support PCEF staff in developing and strengthening partnerships with community groups, businesses, and other public and private organizations.
