Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Communication Specialist will research, develop, report, write, and promote RIT stories for the purposes of raising RIT’s global reputation. Using the PESO media model (paid, earned, shared, owned), the stories will be amplified in a variety of communication platforms. The Senior Communication Specialist will build and maintain relationships with key internal constituents with assigned areas of coverage, (E.g., Colleges, university divisions and institutes). They will contribute news articles to the university’s digital and print outlets and media (owned content), as well as pitch stories to local, regional, national, and trade journals for external media coverage (earned media). They will also amplify coverage via social media. Major responsibilities include:
• Cultivate sources from assigned areas of coverage to enhance reputation and visibility. Provide regular contact with key constituents, including deans, directors and faculty. • Develop, write and promote RIT stories to a wide range of media and targeted audiences • Respond to media inquiries regarding assigned areas of coverage • Contribute news articles for internal outlets, including News & Events, RIT: The University Magazine, and the President’s Annual Report. • Actively participate in university social media channels. • Meet overall communication needs of assigned areas of coverage. The Bioinformatics Center at the University of Nevada, Reno is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Scholar to join our team, available immediately. As the center is growing and expanding to support a variety of omics and data research, we are actively seeking a talented postdoctoral fellow, who is interested in bioinformatics, data science, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, multi-omics and/or related fields, to join our team and help us expand our supported services and research fields. The postdoctoral fellow will assist on selected ongoing projects and is encouraged to learn cutting-edge technologies and to explore new research areas. Applications to NIH/NSF grants and fellowships will be highly encouraged. The center supports a variety of career paths and as such the postdoctoral fellow will be mentored by at least two faculty, the director of the center and one academic tenure-track faculty.
The postdoctoral fellow will work on high-dimensional multi-omics data sets, for example WGS, WES, RNA-seq, scRNA-seq, proteomics and /or metagenomics. They will work closely with experimental life scientists for example to develop tools and analyze genomic (e.g., RNA-Seq, ChIP-seq, scRNA-seq) and epigenetic (PTM and DNA methylation) data using novel and previously published NGS datasets. As a team, the center performs integrated multi-omics, statistical, data science, and bioinformatics analyses applied to a variety of scientific problems. The postdoctoral fellow will have access to training opportunities.
The postdoctoral fellow is expected to perform bioinformatics related research and develop analysis pipelines and relevant software programs in collaboration and under the supervision of the center's director and an academic faculty mentor. The postdoc fellow is expected to publish their research outcomes and to help other researchers in preparing manuscripts. They will be encouraged to improve their teaching skills by developing and providing workshops for undergraduate and graduate students as well as for research faculty.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and mentoring conducted in a dynamic academic core environment.
Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. in bioinformatics, data science, computational sciences, statistics or a related field.
• 3+ years of Python or R programming experience.
• Experience in bash/shell scripting and Linux environment (Ubuntu), applied statistics, high-dimensional omics data analytics for at least one type of omics.
• Excellent writing skills and independent and critical thinking ability.
• Completion of a doctoral degree in the appropriate discipline is required.
• The doctoral degree must have been completed within the five years immediately preceding the first date of appointment as a postdoctoral fellow at the University.
• The individual cannot have held previous positions in the professional ranks.

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Fund Manager and the indirect supervision of the Director of Finance, the Fund Manager manages the income and expenses for assigned cost centers. This includes monthly ledger review, monitoring of quarterly income and expense reports sent to financially complex departments, and implementation of financial protocol schedule in anticipation of fiscal close. The Fund Manager will ensure timely financial management of the School's accounts, invoices, contracts, and grants and monitor the application of accounting principles and activities. Additional major duties include ledger reconciliation, accounts payables, budget preparation, financial forecasting, and income and expense analysis. The incumbent has fiscal and operational responsibility over a portfolio of $2.0 million in extramural research funding, including federal, state, and private industry research awards. The Fund Manager will also work in collaboration with University central campus administrators, department managers, and staff, Law School administrators, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, as well as contract and grant officials at extramural funding agencies, to advance the financial needs of the School and navigate any exceptions to policy that may arise.

Position Summary
The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) and the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund are seeking a Senior Communication Strategist (Coordinator III) to lead and implement proactive public relations campaigns. Position Summary
The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) and the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund are seeking a Senior Communication Strategist (Coordinator III) to lead and implement proactive public relations campaigns. This position will oversee the design and production of compelling materials including print collateral, media releases, reports, e-newsletters, online content, and interactive engagement tools. This position is one of two PCEF Senior Communication Strategists and will serve as the PCEF storyteller. Administrative Services oversees multiple business hubs and shared service organizations throughout the University. As one of the shared services hubs in Administrative Services, the Provost's Administrative Services Team (PAST) provides business and administrative services for Partner Units in the Office of the Provost (OtP) portfolio. PAST partner units include the Division of Global Engagement; Division of Graduate Studies; Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art; Museum of Natural and Cultural History; Undergraduate Education and Student Success; and University Libraries. Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will provide essential human resources management within the PAST shared services team and PAST partner units. This position will support and facilitate effective communication, excellent standards of workplace conduct, and interpersonal problem-solving with high levels of confidentiality, sensitivity, and cultural awareness for approximately 1500 employees. This position is expected to use diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility frameworks in every part of their responsibilities.
Within the PAST portfolio, the HR Manager's responsibilities will include overseeing and managing onboarding and offboarding activities, coordinating the performance evaluation process, as well as maintaining and tracking the student hire process. They will manage projects for PAST HR strategic initiatives and responsibilities, plan and execute administrative processes, and recommend and implement process improvements. This position will support recruitment and the hiring process, helping to ensure diverse and robust candidate pools.
This position regularly exercises independent judgment and develops unit procedures involving personnel and office staffing resources. In addition, they interpret and apply the appropriate policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable entities.

Department Summary
Administrative Services oversees multiple business hubs and shared service organizations throughout the University. Located within the Finance and Administration portfolio, the objective of the division is to provide efficient, strategic and specialized administrative services to support the missions of various departments, schools and colleges at the University of Oregon. Administrative Services focuses on department-specific budget, finance, payroll, human resources, and procure-to-pay functions as well as specialized physical security and utility technologies. Administrative Services is a metric-driven, people-first administrative team that strives to create efficient, effective and sustainable administrative support structures across campus.
As one of the shared services hubs in Administrative Services, the Provost's Administrative Services Team (PAST) provides business and administrative services for Partner Units in the Office of the Provost (OtP) portfolio. PAST partner units include the Division of Global Engagement; Division of Graduate Studies; Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art; Museum of Natural and Cultural History; Undergraduate Education and Student Success; and University Libraries. The units supported by PAST constitute a large business enterprise consisting of more than 1,500 employees and total operating expenditures of more than $73.5 million, all funds. PAST works with multiple employee category types including three different unions, student employees, and officers of administration.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will provide essential human resources management within the PAST shared services team and PAST partner units. This position will support and facilitate effective communication, excellent standards of workplace conduct, and interpersonal problem-solving with high levels of confidentiality, sensitivity, and cultural awareness for approximately 1500 employees. This position is expected to use diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility frameworks in every part of their responsibilities.
Within the PAST portfolio, the HR Manager's responsibilities will include overseeing and managing onboarding and offboarding activities, coordinating the performance evaluation process, as well as maintaining and tracking the student hire process. They will manage projects for PAST HR strategic initiatives and responsibilities, plan and execute administrative processes, and recommend and implement process improvements. This position will support recruitment and the hiring process, helping to ensure diverse and robust candidate pools.
This position regularly exercises independent judgment and develops unit procedures involving personnel and office staffing resources. In addition, they interpret and apply the appropriate policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable entities.
The HR Manager reports to the Associate Director of PAST HR, and will be a key support to the Associate Director in process management, performance evaluations, promotions, student hires, and recruitment. The HR Manager will supervise a team of 2-3 HR Coordinators who support HR processes across the PAST portfolio.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and skills.
• Three years experience as a human resources professional in a large, complex organization including any of the following: personnel and pay actions, HRIS data management, recruiting, job analysis, job description development and/or classification and compensation.
• One year of supervisory or lead work experience.

Client Services (60%)
Oversee the development and implementation of high-quality integrated communications, earned and shared media, and outreach plans with effective short- and long-term strategies to support clients’ objectives and increase campaign visibility. Job Overview
The Director of Campus and Community Sustainability is a key position within the Georgetown University Office of Sustainability to lead and manage implementation of sustainability initiatives on campus and in the community.

The Director of Campus and Community Sustainability reports to the Vice President for Sustainability, who leads the Office of Sustainability in ensuring the sustainability goals of the University are being achieved across all campuses. The Director manages the implementation team of the Office of Sustainability to design innovative ways to address sustainability problems in a large and complex urban setting in collaboration with faculty, students, staff and external partners.
The Director manages both strategic priorities as well as the tactical execution of the sustainability agenda; coordinates across the University and within the Sustainability team to ensure effective operations among various parties; and provides definition and execution of strategic operational projects and initiatives - to include leading all aspects of the project including scheduling, resourcing, development and implementation, working with internal and external areas to roll out projects.
The Director works on behalf and at the direction of the VP, interacting regularly with key university stakeholders, acting as a designee in the absence of the VP, and providing guidance and advice on sustainability related matters.

Requirements and Qualifications
The Director of Campus and Community Sustainability is the operational and engagement sustainability expert responsible for implementation of the University's progress towards its sustainability goals. They are recognized as an expert among those in the field, and applies a high degree of knowledge of the overall field, as well as principles, practices, and procedures of localized sustainable development to complete complex and difficult projects and programs.
The Director must have demonstrated ability to form trusted and effective relationships and partnerships, and the ability to manage such partnerships in a way that leads to mutual benefit in the implementation of sustainability programs and projects.
The Director should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 4-5 years of experience in facilitating collaborative, stakeholder-based planning processes; developing, implementing, and measuring the success of programs, projects and initiatives for sustainability outcomes; and should have at least 5 years of direct work experience in institutional sustainability in the public or private sector.
Analytical and communication abilities are required, with demonstrated subject matter knowledge preferred in sustainability functional areas and how they are connected to social equity and economic prosperity - e.g., inclusive sustainability, water resources, clean energy, urban biodiversity, sustainable transportation, green and responsible procurement, sustainable investment, circularity of materials, regenerative economy, sustainable built environment, sustainable food systems.

The Marketing Coordinator is focused on providing technical and administrative support to The Marine Mammal Center’s Marketing & Communications department. Areas of responsibility include support for our CRM, email/SMS marketing efforts, and website content. The Marketing Coordinator will also support the team by providing assistance with public relations, social media, and photography.
Essential Functions
Technical & Administration Support: 65%
Provide overall technical and administrative support for our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, EveryAction, public relations and social media for the Marketing & Communications department.
Execute data loads into our CRM from third party sources, including but not limited to, rescue hotline, Eventbrite, and Facebook.
Facilitate engagement form creation and reporting.
Ensure our CRM system remains up to date and processes run smoothly by continually reviewing processes and updating accordingly.
Create and send non-automated marketing emails and Short Message Services (SMS) and respond to SMS messages.
Monitor public relations media inbox and respond to requests for interviews, information, photos, and videos.
Coordinate public relations media interviews and send follow-ups after interviews.
Monitor comments on all social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X(Twitter)) and respond or flag as needed and respond to social media channel inbox messages.
Create content for social media channels including, but not limited to, writing posts and finding photos/videos.
