Department:  Corporate Training and Economic Development (CTED)

Reports To:   Manager, Corporate Training and Economic Development

FLSA Status: Exempt

Amount of Travel Required: Day Travel/Once per quarter

Salary Grade: B

Positions Supervised:  None




LOCATION:  Green Bay

STANDARD HOURS:  40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with the ability to work nonstandard hours based on customer and department needs.

Responsible for monitoring and analyzing web performance data for the NWTC/CTED website and portal, and digital advertising opportunities that drive business for the contract training business unit. Provides regular reports, makes data-driven decisions and recommendations by determining effectiveness of web content and digital advertising campaigns. Assists with web graphics and ensures the website and digital advertising strategies adhere to and strengthen the NWTC brand. This position also has some responsibility for the coordination of seminars and special events.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Develop email marketing campaigns for the contract training team in order to move leads through the funnel and drive conversions. Develop segmentation strategies; create templates, calls to action and content for emails; and measure and analyze email performance and campaign results.
  • Plan and coordinate online and mobile advertising campaigns, integrating across platforms, and working with outside vendors as needed.
  • Track and analyze social media campaign performance. Utilize analytics and other feedback systems to set strategy, forecast results, and drive improvement.
  • Recommend and implement digital activities to drive brand awareness, engage with followers, and connect to our business communities in support of continuing education and training enrollment efforts and college goals.
  • Coordinate the social media presence for the CTED department by creating original content for social and traditional media and collateral materials.
  • Conduct market research and evaluation to determine appropriate areas for seminar and training development.
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and follow-up of seminars and special events, and provide frontline customer service.
  • Identify, evaluate, recommend and implement marketing and social media strategies; create content for and update department’s website pages; monitor the CTED brand image online, offline and internally.
  • Work collaboratively with department staff and all departments of the College, and actively participate on the NWTC web governance team.

Education:  Associate’s degree in required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) with preference to Marketing with related experience in digital marketing and/or graphic design. 

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience using graphics and web tools such as Photoshop and Google Analytics. Strong knowledge of search engine optimization; including knowledge of search engine spiders and search engine ranking factors is preferred. Familiarity with HTML is preferred.


Computer Skills:

Experience creating digital assets, basic knowledge of writing HTML, and developing and deploying email templates.  Solid understanding of digital marketing analytics. Experience in Marketing and Creative Design applications in a web based environment. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.


Additional Requirements:

Event planning experience preferred.
