Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to review, dispute, negotiate, consolidate, reconcile, process, and allocate billings, contracts, and licensing from IT vendors, including telephone, data, Mobile devices, software licenses, equipment maintenance, services, and subscriptions for the enterprise. Updates and distributes invoice accounting reports for management. Collects and maintains inventory of all software purchases, licenses and co-ordinates software license renewal with owner. This position performs duties for managing IT contracts to include but not limiting to tracking accountability, identification, location, maintenance, conducting inventories, reconciling, negotiating, consolidating, and validating lifecycle status for these contracts. This position maintains telecommunication and data inventories for providers, including administering ATS pagers. Tracks addition, disposal, and transfer of Corporate IT assets and provide purchasing clerk servi ces for IFS. This position also performs duties to maintain files for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and create/post routine reports and managing software licensing. It is an integral part of ensuring the Corporate IT budget is accurate. The position tracks, evaluates, codes, and pays out on all IT invoices that come through Corporate IT on a daily basis which is then allocated out to the appropriate division as necessary. It looks for and corrects anomalies as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
* Combination of formal post-secondary education and/or a minimum of two years of work experience in general accounting, auditing or as an office manager
* Basic computer skills
* Basic knowledge of MS Outlook and Office applications
* Prior experience in statistical typing and recording information on spreadsheets
* Demonstrated accuracy in working with and tracking large volumes of figures

Minimum Qualifications:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Aptitude for customer service
* Ability to perform administrative tasks such as properly completing, submitting and filing forms
* Ability to accurately record figures and perform simple algebra, addition and subtraction
* Experience in statistical typing and recording information on spreadsheets

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
* Overall knowledge of the telephone systems operating within the Valmont Enterprise and their contractual telecommunications agreements with commercial vendors and suppliers
