Reporting to the Manager of Systems and Programming, the Web Application Specialist is responsible for providing support and tools to the groups using the content management system. This group will consist of Web Developers within the University, as well as outside, University Relations, News Office, and others. This position is responsible for the health, performance and security of these systems via monitoring and applying updates as needed. Other duties include providing support for many of the underlying technologies that support these systems. There will be frequent interactions with representatives of other teams, with collaboration skills playing a key role. This is a temporary, two-year position.
