Position Overview

Freddie Mac’s Single Family Division is currently seeking an Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance Data Governance/Data Quality Professional Analyst to support the implementation and execution of the Single Family Data Governance Data Quality Management Processes. The Single Family Data Governance & Management organization (‘SF DG&M’) is responsible for developing, monitoring and reporting Data Quality results for business processes, financial and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities include:
* Support development and implementation of SF Data Quality dashboards
* Execute the Single Family Data Quality process including initiative support
* Monitor and maintain the monthly SF Data Governance SharePoint dashboard
* Support the development and implementation of data certification process for Data Consumers
* Assist in the enhancement of the SF Operational Data Steward Data Quality dashboard process and business rule management
* Develop and maintain SF Data Quality procedures
* Support the development of training documentation and manage training logistics for the SF Data Quality tool and process
* Support the SF DG&M communication strategy
* Manage security access to the data quality tool
* Act as a liaison to business customers and partners
* Assist with preparation of monthly/quarterly key stakeholder meeting materials
* Support SF Data Governance monthly business process reporting (BPR)
* Support SF Metadata tool and rollout, as needed


* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
* 2 to 4 years of overall progressive experience in analytics, finance, operations, risk and controls, data management, or similar experience
* Strong critical thinking skills
* Proven proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience documenting processes, procedures, standards and performing oversight activities
* Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
* Results-focused and team-oriented
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent customer service skills

Preferred Skills

* Graduate degree or advanced studies
* Working knowledge of Freddie Mac’s business, data and systems (CDW, ODS, Selling, Midas, etc.)
* Familiarity with the Risk and Control processes
* SQL, SAS or other analytic reporting tools
