Position Summary This is responsible, professional, and supervisory work in all phases of surveying and real property acquisition and disposal for the County. An employee in this class organizes the methodology and develops operational procedures, as well as directing and coordinating the functions and activities associated with the Survey, Real Property and GIS Division within the Transportation and Development Department of Public Works. Work is performed under the direction of a higher-level supervisor and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of results obtained. Supervises and coordinates the activities of subordinate employees in surveying, real property and GIS, including determining work procedures and schedules; issuing instructions and assigning duties; reviewing work; recommending personnel actions; conducting performance reviews; and conducting departmental training and orientation. Performs on-site inspections prior to survey, as necessary, to establish methods and procedures for developing field work; instructs field supervisory personnel in the scope of services necessary to produce a final field survey; handles and resolves, if possible, public complaints or questions dealing with survey and real property related situations; directs the establishment of a horizontal and vertical control network throughout the County; prepares legal descriptions and directs the mapping for description sketches; reviews and comments on all proposed record plats for compliance with Florida Statutes and County Regulations; signs all record plats; and handles all special survey related projects as may be directed from any County Department. Researches tax rolls and other property records to verify current ownership of property and existing encumbrances; contacts property owners and negotiates for right of way or easements; obtains the proper executions of agreements and documents necessary to acquire or dispose of real property or easements; and prepares deeds and writes legal descriptions for road rights-of way, easements, and other real property acquisitions. Performs and/or assigns survey computations for the production of right of way maps, boundary surveys, topographical surveys, utility maps, alignment maps, aerial surveys, maintenance mapping, horizontal and vertical control, descriptions, description sketches, and any special mapping request affecting any survey related assignment. Prepares scope of work for all survey requests; provides expert, technical advice regarding surveying and mapping to the County Attorney and staff; provides technical assistance to the County Engineer and staff; maintains a filing system on County property, easements and right of ways; orders, coordinates and reviews title searches; and orders, reviews and analyzes property appraisals. Coordinates and processes the vacation or record plats and streets; coordinates the preparation of maintenance and right of way maps on all County roads; responds to questions regarding right of way and easement policies and relevant laws and ordinances; and applies and interprets applicable rules, policies, procedures and regulations regarding the purchase of property, or payments and terms of agreements for permits and easements. Coordinates and reviews any surveying request from other County Departments and prepares their scope of services; directs surveying, mapping and real property activities involved with property acquisitions and / or disposals; performs routine research of zoning ordinances and condemnation procedures; coordinates the disposal of surplus County property and makes presentations to the Board of County Commissioners as needed. The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is seeking an experienced Emergency Preparedness Manager to lead the planning, mitigation, and response to all hazards, emergencies, significant events, and disasters affecting the agency and the communities it serves.
Under general direction, this role oversees VTA's Emergency Management program, including staffing, policies, and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. The Emergency Preparedness Manager serves as a key advisor to executive leadership and partners across the organization and with external agencies to strengthen organizational resilience, support initiatives such as EOC development, continuity of operations planning, hazard mitigation, and large-scale event coordination, and ensure effective response and recovery efforts. The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate is an experienced Emergency Preparedness Manager with a proven record of leading all-hazards emergency management programs within a public-sector, transportation, or critical infrastructure environment. They possess extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local emergency management requirements and demonstrate the ability to apply Homeland Security, NIMS, and SEMS principles to incident response, Emergency Operations Center (EOC) operations, and agency-wide emergency planning. This individual has experience overseeing emergency management staffing, policies, and procedures and is comfortable serving as a key advisor to executive leadership during both planned events and emergency incidents. They are skilled at maintaining situational awareness, making informed decisions under pressure, and coordinating response and recovery efforts with local, state, and federal partners, including emergency management agencies and public safety stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with developing, maintaining, and exercising Emergency Operations Plans (EOP), Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP), and hazard mitigation strategies, and understands the complexities of protecting public transportation systems and critical infrastructure. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Asset Management & Loan Closing Associate supports Asset Management functions and the loan closing process for commercial real estate of affordable housing loans. This dual-role position ensures the integrity of transactions from commitment through disbursement and throughout the life of the loan. This position ensures that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Asset Management & Loan Closing Associate supports Asset Management functions and the loan closing process for commercial real estate of affordable housing loans. This dual-role position ensures the integrity of transactions from commitment through disbursement and throughout the life of the loan. This position ensures that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Asset Management & Loan Closing Associate plays a critical role in coordinating with internal departments, borrowers, legal counsel, title companies, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful loan closings.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate all aspects of loan closings from commitment through funding
Schedule and facilitate closings with borrowers, underwriters, attorneys, and title
Manage communications with borrowers, title, and internal teams
Track and collect due diligence items (title, insurance, survey, etc.)
Maintain and manage closing checklists, calendars, and escrow instructions
Initiate UCC filings and coordinate with title companies
Maintain digital loan files and update Salesforce
Upload executed documents and follow up on outstanding items
Flag borrower-specific compliance issues and support draw coordination
Perform initial compliance checks (e.g., insurance, title review)
Coordinate with outside counsel for draft requests and track legal invoices
Monitor the status of closing-related deliverables and flag issues
Prepare/review template closing documents (draft settlement statements, funding instructions)
Ensure legal and internal compliance before disbursement
Collaborate with post-closing teams for transition and trailing documents
Support audits by pulling files and responding to document requests
Provide customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Asset Management Support
Support post-closing borrower onboarding including compliance calendars, file uploads, and key covenants.
Assist with ongoing monitoring including review of compliance certificates, financial reports, and borrower performance.
Help maintain asset management trackers, risk rating updates, and site visit preparation.
Coordinate with internal teams to flag underperforming loans or missing compliance items.
Assist with the preparation of asset management memos, watchlist summaries, or risk-related presentations.
Input updated borrower performance data and compliance items into Salesforce and the shared drive.
Collaborate with the Director on special projects related to portfolio performance and reporting.

Position Summary
The Assistant Director - Space Management manages the Space Management team within Campus Planning and provides services in campus space planning and space records management. This position manages space requests and space planning projects, develops and implements long-range space planning guidelines, and provides supervision, staff support, and professional advice for space management activities at the university.
This position reports to the Director of Campus Planning and works with the Director to set priorities and perform tasks independently while also working as a member of a team. The Assistant Director works closely with the Campus Planning Space Management Team to perform its services and leads team staff in strategic planning on aspects of campus space management, including developing objectives and metrics for achieving university space management goals. This position provides expertise, advocacy, and leadership on issues related to space management; advises administrative leadership in the Space Advisory Group; conducts analytical studies related to campus-wide and unit-level space use; and participates in the management of capital projects to guide programming and surge planning.

Minimum Qualifications T he Agricultural Land Conservation Senior Planner Position will assist the Alachua County Forever Land Conservation Program with protection of agricultural lands through acquisition and management of conservation easements, acquisition of other conservation lands, and monitoring and stewardship of stewardship of County-held easements and county-owned lands. Position Summary This is responsible and professional work in all phases of economic development in support of affordable and workforce housing in the Alachua County Community Support Services Department, Housing Division. An employee assigned to this classification performs complex assignments and will serve as the coordinator for affordable and workforce housing strategic development, assist in the administration and use of Housing Trust Fund and Infrastructure Sales Tax Funds, manage real estate transactions, negotiate lease agreements, and will ensure compliance with grant regulations. Work is performed under the direction of a higher-level supervisor and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and observation of results obtained. Plans, develops, pursues, identifies, coordinates, and administers affordable housing residential projects; assists in coordinating land acquisitions and clearing, financing and construction activities in accordance with program policies and requirements; prepares requirements and specifications for redevelopment projects and real estate closing documents. Ensures project compliance with grant regulations; negotiates, prepares, and administers contracts and agreements; monitors timeliness and performance requirements; manages real estate transactions and negotiates lease agreements. Compiles and analyzes data that may impact the need for and preservation of affordable housing in the County and creates reports, maps, and other visualizations to present and share findings. Related data may include, but is not limited to economic trends, housing costs, demographic characteristics, and land use trends. Performs the necessary underwriting analysis and subsidy layering reviews in accordance with federal, state , and local standards for proposed housing development and rental projects. Develops, handles, and maintains criteria used to evaluate proposed housing development and rental projects. Participates as the financial expert as part of scoring or selection panel for proposed housing projects. Represents the County at housing related organizations and events. Engages with the development community, non-profits, and other agencies to expedite affordable housing projects and ideas. Completes quarterly reconciliation of associated systems. Reviews payment requests to ensure the request complies with contractual requirements and project pro forms development budgets. Coordinates payments to ensure construction progress is accurate. Reviews projects for compliance or breach of contract issues as part of the compliance review process. Drives a County and/or personal vehicle for property visits, monitoring visits at various sites, and logistics and development meetings throughout the county.
