Reporting to Director of Teaching & Liaison Services, the Head of the Arts & Humanities Liaisons acts as the leader and supervisor of the arts and humanities librarian team and a liaison to the College of Design academic departments.
As Head, they supervise, mentor, and evaluate 3.0 FTE librarians who are liaisons to the various arts and humanities departments and the School of Music and Dance. Functioning as a subject liaison, they provide teaching, research support, and collection development services for the departments and programs of the College of Design both on the Eugene and Portland campuses. This is an onsite position located in the Design Library on the Eugene campus but will require some travel to the Portland campus.
As Head, they monitor, develop, and assess all aspects of liaison activities for the team including library instruction, research and outreach and collection development. This position functions as the Collection Manager for the Arts and Humanities. This includes regular attendance at collection meetings, developing purchasing strategies, sharing budget information with the liaison team, and coordinating overall selections for the arts and humanities disciplines.
The Head will ensure that the arts and humanities team is actively engaged in all aspects of liaison work. They will support their team in establishing goals and monitor activities which contribute overall to the goals of the Libraries. They will keep their team informed of library and university initiatives and support them through the promotion process.
The Head of the Arts & Humanities Liaisons is professionally active in regional, national, and/or international organizations devoted to the promotion of librarianship and cooperative library interaction; serves on both University and professional organization committees; influences the profession of librarianship beyond the institution and may submit publications for regional, national, or international publications; and participates in appropriate professional development activities and organizations to stay current with trends and practices in the field, and to meet criteria for promotion and retention. Job Summary
The Community Projects Manager will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of a Congressionally Directed Spending grant focused on developing a community-driven conservation campaign supporting the shared sustainability of endangered Hawaiian monk seals and humans in Hawai’i. The Community Projects Manager will join the existing Ke Kai Ola team, lead the engagement of local stakeholder groups, and manage a steering committee made up of local cultural advisors, academics, and other key stakeholders. They will act as project manager for the grant by managing all deliverables, including all external contract deliverables. They are responsible for compiling and distributing the resulting campaign communication tools to partners and stakeholders across the State of Hawai’i.
Essential Functions:
Community Engagement & Project Management: 70%
Identify, engage, and foster positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders and community members on Hawai’i Island.
Guide the identification and prioritization of target community-driven conservation challenges that will achieve the greatest impact supporting shared sustainability.
Develop, schedule, communicate, and implement community and professional data collection events including, but not limited to, surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions.
Ensure the development and execution of campaigns are aligned with the Center’s objectives, target audiences, and budgets.
Drive the collaboration of cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing collateral that aligns with the tone and positioning of the Center’s mission and strategy in with a focus on protecting Hawaiian monk seals and the coastal environment.
Track campaign performance, utilizing data and metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
Summarize campaign results and coordinate reporting to all stakeholders.
Coordinate distribution of project materials to all stakeholders.
Manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.
Build/foster collaboration with other organizations and parties for the advancement of marine mammal medicine and health.
Guide site tours and participate in ongoing public, donor, and organizational functions and events as needed.
Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify successes, challenges, and opportunities for future initiatives.
Leadership & Management: 15%
Provides leadership in strengthening internal communications within the department, and with staff at all levels of the organization; create and promote a positive work environment.
Manage the local stakeholder advisory team, coordinating advice and input into project process and outcomes.
Support and prioritize the Center’s DEI objectives and integrate into the Center’s campaigns.
Represent and promote the Center’s culture of conservation medicine and science to potential donors and grant opportunities.
Provide support to other Hawai’i programs as needed.
Budget Management & Fundraising: 10%
Lead grant and report writing with assistance from Institutional Giving and KKO leadership, including ensuring completion of grant objectives and reporting.
Support grant budget, data collection, and reporting.
Track assigned grant budget results to ensure alignment with key financial targets.
Support development and execution of potential funding opportunities.

Job Summary
The Community Projects Manager will play a pivotal role in the planning, coordination, and execution of a Congressionally Directed Spending grant focused on developing a community-driven conservation campaign supporting the shared sustainability of endangered Hawaiian monk seals and humans in Hawai’i. The Community Projects Manager will join the existing Ke Kai Ola team, lead the engagement of local stakeholder groups, and manage a steering committee made up of local cultural advisors, academics, and other key stakeholders. They will act as project manager for the grant by managing all deliverables, including all external contract deliverables. They are responsible for compiling and distributing the resulting campaign communication tools to partners and stakeholders across the State of Hawai’i.
Essential Functions:
Community Engagement & Project Management: 70%
Identify, engage, and foster positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders and community members on Hawai’i Island.
Guide the identification and prioritization of target community-driven conservation challenges that will achieve the greatest impact supporting shared sustainability.
Develop, schedule, communicate, and implement community and professional data collection events including, but not limited to, surveys, focus groups, and listening sessions.
Ensure the development and execution of campaigns are aligned with the Center’s objectives, target audiences, and budgets.
Drive the collaboration of cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing collateral that aligns with the tone and positioning of the Center’s mission and strategy in with a focus on protecting Hawaiian monk seals and the coastal environment.
Track campaign performance, utilizing data and metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimization.
Summarize campaign results and coordinate reporting to all stakeholders.
Coordinate distribution of project materials to all stakeholders.
Manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, vendors, and partners to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.
Build/foster collaboration with other organizations and parties for the advancement of marine mammal medicine and health.
Guide site tours and participate in ongoing public, donor, and organizational functions and events as needed.
Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify successes, challenges, and opportunities for future initiatives.
Leadership & Management: 15%
Provides leadership in strengthening internal communications within the department, and with staff at all levels of the organization; create and promote a positive work environment.
Manage the local stakeholder advisory team, coordinating advice and input into project process and outcomes.
Support and prioritize the Center’s DEI objectives and integrate into the Center’s campaigns.
Represent and promote the Center’s culture of conservation medicine and science to potential donors and grant opportunities.
Provide support to other Hawai’i programs as needed.
Budget Management & Fundraising: 10%
Lead grant and report writing with assistance from Institutional Giving and KKO leadership, including ensuring completion of grant objectives and reporting.
Support grant budget, data collection, and reporting.
Track assigned grant budget results to ensure alignment with key financial targets.
Support development and execution of potential funding opportunities.
Other Duties as Assigned: 5%

Deep knowledge of Hawaii’s natural resources and unique challenges.
A strong understanding of communities on Hawai’i Island.

Strong understanding of up-to-date behavior change science (preferred).
Previous experience with grant administration and reporting (preferred).

Qualifications and Experience
This position requires a combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree; and at least 4 years of Hawaiian cultural knowledge and community engagement experience.
Valid driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record to maintain standards of insurability.

CalOptima Health is seeking a highly motivated an experienced Contracts Database Administrator, Sr. (Business Analyst, Sr.) to join our team. The Contracts Database Administrator, Sr. will be responsible for initiating, overseeing and maintaining the department's contract management system. The incumbent will code and/or program templates, and add custom prompts, alternative terms and exhibits to all contract templates. The incumbent will build custom forms to capture contract data, rates, payment terms, provider types, sub-specialties, services/products and metadata. The incumbent will maintain updates to pre-approved templates, be responsible for maintenance of the template and language library and oversee the end-to-end contract life cycle system management processes. The incumbent will administer regular and ad-hoc reporting, oversee deployment of bulk contracts, support the return of outstanding contracts and perform user acceptance testing after system updates. • Oversees, manages and maintains the department's contracts database, codes and/or programs documents, administers bulk distribution of contracts and amendments and maintains template updates and history. • Manages contract templates and incorporates appropriate styles, autonumbering, font/font size, pagination and standard headers and footers. • Reviews new templates for consistency, language alignment and configuration. • Develops custom forms that populate contracts, payment terms, provider types, cover letters, routing forms and metadata. • Develops supporting documents (exhibits) to complement contract templates. • Develops contract activity trend reports processed through CMS monthly, quarterly and annual basis. • Provides training to end users on contract creation, language revisions, the approval process and general reporting. • Develops back-end quality control reports to monitor data entry requirements and integrity. • Oversees end-to-end system management, validates system upgrades and ensures business needs are met.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, computer science or a related field required.
• 3 years of experience working with a contract management application required.

Department Summary The UCLA American Indian Studies Center (AISC) was founded in 1969 as a research institute dedicated to addressing American Indian issues and supporting Native communities. The AISC serves as a hub of activities for Indigenous students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community, as well as serving as a bridge between the academy and indigenous peoples locally, nationally, and internationally. We foster innovative academic research by students and faculty, publish leading scholarship in the field of American Indian Studies, and support events and programming focused on indigenous issues. Department Summary The UCLA American Indian Studies Center (AISC) was founded in 1969 as a research institute dedicated to addressing American Indian issues and supporting Native communities. The AISC serves as a hub of activities for Indigenous students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community, as well as serving as a bridge between the academy and indigenous peoples locally, nationally, and internationally. Position Summary Under the guidance of the Center director, the deputy director oversees the overall activities of the Center, providing general supervision over unit coordinators within the Center's structure (Center Administration Management, TLCEE, Press/Publications, Library, External Affairs), and providing collaborative support in resolving issues and problems as they arise. Responsibilities include oversight of all Center communications, events and special projects; fund development and grant writing; and assistance with developing policy and legislative agendas. The deputy director also serves as the managing editor of the American Indian Culture and Research Journal.

Oversees scholarly grant recipient data sheets for instruction to Getty’s Payroll Department on stipend payments, health insurance eligibility, and travel contributions for scholars and fellows.
Establishes OSIP operational strategies and provides the related necessary direction and motivation to OSIP staff
Broad oversight of the Getty’s Scholar residential apartment complex by ensuring that all operations are conducted in a timely manner and according to the Scholar Housing Policy Statement and Scholar Housing Resident Policy.
Uses good judgment and a solid appreciation for cultural nuances to offer sound advice and guidance.
Monitors, provides, and coordinates assistance to Exchange Visitors, in case of incidents, injuries, and sickness. Reports these cases to US DoS as necessary.
Manages the OSIP website: creates content, evaluates changes, and supervises the technical work involved.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Considerable technical and procedural knowledge of assigned area, including Department of Homeland Security and Department of State immigration regulations for J-1 non-immigrant visas
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of all elements of J-1 visas to provide guidance to staff, scholars, interns, trainees, researchers, and library grantees on the evaluation of the appropriate visa, considering past, present and future variables and associated impacts of visa options. Erroneous or incomplete visas evaluation/assessments could result in a variety of issues affecting visa status and in turn affect the visa applicant and the institution.
Demonstrates excellent knowledge of F-1 visas rules and procedures that impact Getty internships and scholarships of International Students.

• Campus Network: internet service, edge routing and security, core backbone & distribution, access layer switching, indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi service, underground distribution and structured cabling. • Data Center: virtual infrastructure for compute, storage & networking including associated management tools; applications, systems appliances and cloud services for backup, replication, orchestration and disaster recovery. • Servers: modern versions of both Microsoft Windows Server and Enterprise Linux, running in virtual, physical and appliance formats, including key technologies of each. • Enterprise collaboration & productivity applications for email, calendaring, chat, storage and document collaboration. • Communications: phone service, phone system, voicemail and associated support infrastructure. • Authentication Services: enterprise directories for authentication, authorization, auditing, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication. • Cloud Services: compute, storage, enterprise services and remote connectivity to offsite providers. High-Performance Computing: specialized hardware, software and workflows for support of academic research computing needs. • Core network services: DNS, DHCP, IPAM, centralized logging, management systems and monitoring & alerting systems. • End-User Services: file servers, application virtualization & delivery.
Job Duties:
• Monitor and support all aspects of infrastructure operations. • Troubleshoot, resolve and document issues and faults with infrastructure systems and services supported by the team. • Install, manage, and upgrade server hardware and operating systems, software updates/upgrades and applications in a virtual and physical server environment. • Install, configure and manage various types of network equipment, including routers, firewalls, switches, wireless controllers and access points. • Administer applications and systems in support of core infrastructure • Develop and update internal and external documentation for the support and use of systems and services. • Share scheduled on-call responsibilities with other members of the team, including routine service requests, incidents and emergency (after-hours) response to critical issues impacting availability and security of key infrastructure. • Research, identify, evaluate and recommend new products and services to enhance, improve or optimize infrastructure operations. • Work with other members of the team and outside vendors/contractors to help plan, design and implement complex systems and solutions in support of the services we provide to campus. • Work closely with members of the team and our Director of Information Security and Privacy to ensure the integrity and security of all infrastructure and services. • Work collaboratively with members of other LITS teams and partners in other divisions across campus • Actively seek opportunities to remain up-to-date with trends and developments in infrastructure technologies. • Provide outstanding customer service in support of network and data center infrastructure to members of LITS, faculty, staff and students. • Support LITS in creating an accessible, supportive environment and an educational experience that recognizes diversity and cultural competence as integral components of academic excellence. • Assumes other duties as required or assigned. This is a full-time, exempt position with a salary range of $75,000 - $90,000.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or information technology. In the absence of a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar environment is required. Experience and ability to positively and inclusively interact with diverse student populations and campus groups.
Previous experience in a complex networking/systems environment is preferred.
