Position Summary:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) is seeking a Complex Family Planning Specialist to join our faculty at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (commensurate with experience). Department Overview The California Policy Lab (CPL) generates research insights for government impact. Through hands-on partnerships with government agencies, CPL performs rigorous research across issue silos and builds the data infrastructure necessary to improve programs and policies that millions of Californians rely on every day. We work on California's most urgent issues, including homelessness, poverty, criminal justice reform, and education inequality. At its Berkeley site, CPL resides as a center within the Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE). CPL recognizes the value of having a diverse staff at all levels of the organization. Position Description The Health & Safety Net Researcher will lead CPL's research portfolio relating to the social safety net and health, in collaboration with and under the oversight of CPL's faculty affiliates and Research Director. This is an exciting role for a skilled safety net and/or health researcher who wants to design and conduct policy-relevant quantitative research in partnership with state and local agencies throughout California. The Health & Safety Net Researcher conducts quantitative research, including conceptualizing research questions and design; requesting, receiving, and cleaning data files; creating and implementing an analysis plan; conducting quality assurance reviews; summarizing results in documents for both academic and policy audiences; and generating replicability documentation. The Health & Safety Net Researcher can implement multiple research designs and analysis techniques, including but not limited to randomized control trials, quasi-experimental designs using natural experiments or other such variation, and difference-in-difference and event study analyses. Further, a successful candidate can lead research projects under the oversight of CPL's Research Director with small teams, write proposals to support research projects, and ensure timely and high-quality completion of research tasks. Department Overview The California Policy Lab (CPL) generates research insights for government impact. Position Description The Health & Safety Net Researcher will lead CPL's research portfolio relating to the social safety net and health, in collaboration with and under the oversight of CPL's faculty affiliates and Research Director. About the Program: The School of Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound established in 1975 and subsequently received accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), with continuing accreditation confirmed most recently in 2019. Responsibilities: The University of Puget Sound School of Physical Therapy seeks applications for a Tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy to begin July 2026. The successful candidate will have expertise in neurologic or orthopedic physical therapy. The standard teaching load is 6 units per academic year. Primary teaching responsibilities will include courses in Critical Inquiry, musculoskeletal or neurologic rehabilitation, foundational physical therapy skills, and/or other course work as negotiated. The teaching load will be completed some combination of the following: mentoring of student research, mentoring/instructing students in our on-site physical therapy clinic, and teaching an advanced clinical elective in an area of special interest. Candidates are expected to engage in departmental advising and admissions, as well as university service.
Qualifications: Required:
• Earned professional physical therapy degree from a CAPTE-accredited program (DPT) • Academic doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, EdD, DSc) • Academic teaching experience of DPT students • Record of research productivity with evidence of publication • Licensed Physical Therapist (WA state eligible) • Minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical practice

About the Program: The School of Physical Therapy at the University of Puget Sound established in 1975 and subsequently received accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), with continuing accreditation confirmed most recently in 2019. The program has eight full-time faculty members, high-quality adjunct faculty, and a robust network of clinical instructors that mentor students in the on-site clinic, Puget Sound's pro bono physical therapy service to the community. This part-time clinical experience is integrated into students' second and third years, and is in addition to the program's two, full-time clinical experiences. The program seats a class of 36 students each fall and prides itself on graduates who are highly clinically competent. For this reason, physical therapy faculty who teach clinical content areas are expected to remain clinically current and practice physical therapy in an ongoing manner. The Digital Marketing Specialist will provide creative expertise to support the marketing and promotional efforts of the Dr. Bob Smith Health Center (DBSHC). This role blends traditional graphic design skills with digital media expertise to craft impactful visuals for print and online platforms. Collaborating with university and health center staff, the designer will report directly to the Executive Director and play a key role in advancing DBSHC’s outreach.
Essential Functions:
Design & Content Creation: Create print materials such as brochures, posters and flyers. Design digital content for DBSHC website, email templates, digital monitors, social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X) and PPT presentations. Capture/edit photography to enhance promotional materials. Keep organized digital folder of design assets (e.g., photos, completed projects) for Exec Director's access.
Digital Media and Analytics: Distribute visual assets across social media and other platforms. Send out event notifications via email to the campus. Monitor engagement metrics (e.g., likes, shares, clicks) to evaluate effectiveness and refine future designs.
Collaboration and Communication: Work with campus partners and DBSHC staff to align designs with project goals and brand standards. Engage in co-marketing efforts with other departments as appropriate. Collect feedback from stakeholders at key stages to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects independently and with the marketing team, meeting deadlines efficiently. Track progress and communicate updates or challenges to the Executive Director.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in graphic design, art or related discipline is preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a professional graphic design role is required. Experience in a creative agency, marketing department, or a university design unit is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate should exhibit excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities, enabling them to effectively engage with diverse groups across the University and foster productive relationships with various stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong written communication skills, including proficiency in editing and proofreading
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
Candidate knowledge of digital media trends and best practices (e.g., social media design, accessibility) is required.
Candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver).

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Specialist, Marketing Communications to join the School of Public Health (SPH). This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications plans that align with the strategic goals of SPH and its affiliated Schools and Centers. The Specialist will manage web, communications, print materials, and other marketing services, acting as a liaison between the School of Public Health and various University units.
Working closely with the University's Office of Marketing and Communications, the Specialist will ensure that all initiatives support the University's overall marketing strategy and priorities. Nevada was selected from a competitive pool of 489 applicants from across the United States and its territories. Nevada's Tech Hub will strengthen America's lithium batteries, critical elements and other electric vehicle materials industry sectors within the state.
