We have the following positions available


Administrative Assistant III-Requisition #33716- This position will provide staffing, financial, and administrative support for the Custodial and Grounds division. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, reports, process purchase orders for materials and supplies, research information, maintain filing systems, coordinate meetings; write emails to customers, and maintaining tool re-orders and inventory as well as various other related tasks.


Custodial Supervisor 1 Requisition #33343-Under the general direction of the Sr. Superintendent (s) and or Asst. Director, manage all aspects of custodial and special services for buildings campus wide (approximately 12M/sq. feet). Assist in planning, evaluating and administering goals and objectives, prepare administrative and technical correspondence when needed, interact with University clients at all levels concerning on-going and long range maintenance projects.


Senior Custodian-Requisition #34394- Perform various housekeeping duties. Sweep and mop the floors, collect and dispose of trash, clean and sanitize restrooms, re-stock supplies, dust and wax furniture, vacuum and shampoo carpets, wash walls and clean venetian blinds, perform floor restoration-strip and wax, and polish brass, chrome and other metal fixtures in restroom, offices and laboratories. Maintain the highest quality of custodial service at a level consistent with University and department standards.


Lead Custodian-Requisition #34047- Under the direct supervision of the Custodial Supervisor, lead custodial personnel in all aspects of housekeeping services, i.e., trash removal and disposal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, washing of walls and floors, cleaning of restroom facilities and restocking with supplies, vacuum cleaning, floor and furniture waxing, and glass cleaning. Make recommendations for corrective action within each unit to immediate supervisor in employee training and orientation.


Grounds Supervisor-Requisition #33450-Under the broad direction of the Sr. Superintendent of Grounds or designee, incumbent is responsible for the supervision of 1 Lead Groundskeeper and approximately 22 Groundskeepers/Laborers. Responsible for the acceptable performance of grounds maintenance in such areas as mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerifying, renovating, and installing lawns.
