Lower School Temporary Teaching Assistant Position

Brentwood School, a vibrant and diverse K-12 independent school, is seeking a supervisory teaching      assistant to help oversee Kindergarten through 5th Grade students from 9:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. We are looking for an individual with experience in camps or other outdoor student activities.  The position is available beginning immediately. This is a temporary position from October until mid-December 2021 and possibly extending into the spring of 2022. The ideal candidate will have the confidence in leading      activities for small groups of children.      Qualified candidates will be outgoing, fun, and be capable of connecting with children, while keeping safety and fairness as top priority.


Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Creating an enjoyable experience for students
  • Assisting and collaborating with the Lower School administration to ensure that the program runs smoothly
  • Oversee lunch and snack times
  • Substitute in classes as necessary
