Job Description

Serve as account manager for clients and projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager. Responsibilities include the production of marketing promotions, including direct response communications; email, social and other Web-based promotions; public relations; and other marketing collateral. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, account management, project budget maintenance, writing/editing, and proofreading.

Goals Include:

  • Quality of work including creativity and concept development, accuracy, thoroughness, dependability, and reliability
  • Quantity of work, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Client skills - including maintaining good relationships, open communication and independent problem solving.
  • Product knowledge of all accounts, general knowledge of marketing tactics, the initiative to continuously improve knowledge and the ability to challenge the status quo.

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred. Experience in event promotion is helpful.  Excellent writing and proofreading skills required.  The ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines is also required.  Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. A working knowledge of InDesign, HTML, and email delivery software helpful.
  • Able to interact with all levels of the company, work as part of a team, solve problems and take direction.
