UCLA Institute of American Cultures (IAC) is looking to hire a dynamic individual with exceptional skills in finance management and passion for social justice and ethnic studies. The IAC consists of the four ethnic studies centers (ESCs): American Indian Studies Center, Asian American Studies Center, Bunche Center for African American Studies and Chicano Studies Research Center. Reporting to the IAC Vice Provost and Chief Administrative Officer, the finance and research manager (FRM) consults with ESCs on budget, finance, payroll and accounting functions; contracts and grants, gifts and endowments, fellowship and research grant program budgets. The IAC FRM performs high-level budget analysis and participates in long-range financial planning. Responsibilities include preparing financial and statistical reports and advising the Vice Provost, CAO and ESCs on accounting policy and procedure matters. This role will offer the ideal candidate opportunities to work collaboratively with university leadership, faculty and staff.

The target salary range for this position is between the $4600 and $7000 monthly.
