Under the direction of UCLA Operation Mend Medical Directors and the Executive Director, you will provide clinical oversight and leadership of our Operation Mend programs. This will involve training and supervising clinical staff and providing overall clinical leadership for the program. You will provide program development and community education, as well as initiate innovative research projects. Overseeing our participation in the national Warrior Care Network, you will lead the strategic development and implementation of innovative treatment programs appropriate for our military patient population. You will:

·      Oversee case management of new and existing patients and families
·      Ensure continuity of care, clinical quality, and patient safety
·      Maximize clinical efficiencies within Operation Mend
·      In the absence of the Executive Director, serve as interim Executive Director
·      Create new procedures and protocols for psychological/physical health programs
·      Drive process improvement projects


We’re seeking a flexible, patient-focused, service oriented professional with:

•Five or more years of experience managing a team of clinicians
•Doctoral degree in psychology and current California licensure
•Five or more years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist
•Experience training and supervising clinicians with mental health degrees
•Management experience, including research and clinical staff
•Background in health services research
•Extensive background working with individuals with serious mental illness
•Ability to work well with administrators and providers in mental health clinics
•Experience working with or supervising consumer providers
•Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary teams
•Excellent communication skills
•Clinical experience treating Adult and Families, specifically trauma
