Organization: Information Technology Industry Council (ITI)

Position: Accountant

Location: Washington, DC

Reports to: Controller

 

Come join the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), the premier advocacy and policy organization for the world's leading innovation companies!  They are seeking an Accountant to assist with the day-to-day accounting and finance operations for ITI and the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF).  ITI’s headquarters is located in Washington, DC.

 

As the Accountant for ITI and ITIF, you will assist the Operations and Finance department with a variety of accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, fixed assets, general ledger, file maintenance, and audit and tax preparation.  In this role, you will report to the Controller and collaborate with a variety of internal staff as well as external vendors and member companies.

 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred; plus a minimum of three years of accounting experience including processing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger review and reconciliations.  Qualified applicants will have working knowledge of GAAP and Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Excel, and a proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion.  Experience with Sage, Certify, and Paycor is a plus.
