We are the most comprehensive graduate‐level theater conservatory in the English‐ speaking world, offering training in Acting, Design including Costume, Lighting, Projection, Set and Sound Design, Directing, Dramaturgy and Dramatic Criticism, Playwriting, Stage Management, Technical Design and Production, and Theater Management. The School operates in concert with the Tony Award‐winning LORT Yale Repertory Theatre in downtown New Haven, CT. The Projection Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and coordinates the work of the projection production department. While overseeing the staff Projection Technician, projection intern(s), and casual and work‐study labor, the Projection Supervisor mentors student engineers and collaborates with graduate student and guest projection designers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, participation in budget and production meetings, oversight of planning, system preparation and load‐in phases, attendance at selected rehearsals, technical rehearsals, previews, note sessions, strike and subsequent seminars. The Projection Supervisor is responsible for tracking the development of projection hardware and software, and will oversee, monitor, and expend the projection shop equipment budget, and collaborate with the projection design faculty on design lab equipment and upkeep. This position may teach courses in their area of expertise.
This position will require a significant weekly in‐person component which would require them to be on campus. Per COVID protocols, all staff must be fully vaccinated or submit an approved exemption. Position Focus:

The position will assure appropriate representation of divisional needs in central planning and technology prioritization, as well as assist to align resources from each of the IT teams in daily delivery. Success will require a keen understanding of the unique challenges of a research-intensive academic environment, and effective coordination in a decentralized information technology support structure.
Establish and nurture trusted relationships with colleagues both in the academic divisions as well as in relevant information technology, library, and facilities divisions in delivering comprehensive systems, services, and support.
Aid in the development of academic discipline specific services to enable effective support of the varying needs of faculty groups and research interests while striving for coordination and collaboration for a coherent and cost-effective whole.
In consultation with divisional leadership, lead the development of long-term IT strategy relevant to these divisions and contribute to the overall IT vision of Yale. Identify existing and emerging needs and define appropriate business plans for satisfying these requirements in the context of relevant IT governance structures.
Work to integrate and simplify user experience and provides seamless coverage across various support teams to strengthen service quality.
Develop close working relationships with senior IT staffs at the University as well as departmental IT teams. Participate in standing meetings in the divisions and central IT to aid in maintaining alignment with organizational goals. Represent and appropriately advocate for these needs across all units involved in comprehensive IT delivery.
Understand and structure capacity to support IT services - from large scale projects to core applications and maintenance/service requests. Create and maintain a clear, prioritized portfolio of IT projects with transparent status that identifies risks and dependencies.
Orchestrate operational support when required. Coordinate and consult as may be required to diagnose and resolve complex problems

Program Coordinator, Yale Summer Session

Position Focus:
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Academic Affairs, Yale Summer Session, the Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting all aspects of academic services to include faculty appointments, residential life hiring, and course and program support. The Program Coordinator will be a key member of the Summer Session team, working collaboratively with all members of the staff to ensure an optimal summer experience for faculty and students, utilizing strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and possessing a dedication to summer learning. Other assignments, duties and projects as required.
Principle Responsibilities:
Faculty Services: Under the direction of the Senior Associate Director, and in conjunction with Faculty Administrative Services and the Provost’s office, process all summer faculty appointments in Workday and draft hiring letters. Process all teaching assistant appointments in conjunction with the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Assist new faculty and teaching staff in onboarding, and obtaining NetIDs and Yale ID cards. Coordinate with OISS on obtaining visas for visiting international faculty. Must have strong attention to detail and experience with data management.
Residential Life Hiring: Support the hiring of summer residential life staff, including residential directors, counselors, and other summer residential positions. Process payments through Workday and Student Employment.
Course and Program Support: Work with registrar to ensure courses are correctly entered in Banner and Courseleaf, and compile course catalog. Work with Slate admissions software team to regularly update course list in Slate. Coordinate student data entry in Slate for special programs. Work closely with Yale Conferences and Events to schedule courses in appropriate classrooms. Partner with Yale Facilities and Classroom Support to resolve classroom issues that arise during the summer. Support different aspects of summer programming as needed.
Other Duties: Manage all faculty and course information. Reconcile receipts/reimbursements in Workday. Provide back-up for the summer session reception desk when needed. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level and a high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Required Skill/Ability 1:
Experience in faculty appointments and support with a strong customer service orientation. HR software experience highly preferred. Experience utilizing database programs for data management and reporting. Admissions software experience preferred. Excellent general computer skills.

Process all teaching assistant appointments in conjunction with the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Assist new faculty and teaching staff in onboarding, and obtaining NetIDs and Yale ID cards. Coordinate with OISS on obtaining visas for visiting international faculty. Must have strong attention to detail and experience with data management.
Residential Life Hiring: Support the hiring of summer residential life staff, including residential directors, counselors, and other summer residential positions. Process payments through Workday and Student Employment.
Course and Program Support: Work with registrar to ensure courses are correctly entered in Banner and Courseleaf, and compile course catalog. Work with Slate admissions software team to regularly update course list in Slate. Coordinate student data entry in Slate for special programs. Work closely with Yale Conferences and Events to schedule courses in appropriate classrooms. Partner with Yale Facilities and Classroom Support to resolve classroom issues that arise during the summer. Support different aspects of summer programming as needed.
Other Duties: Manage all faculty and course information. Reconcile receipts/reimbursements in Workday. Provide back-up for the summer session reception desk when needed. Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level and a high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
