MPN CEO CJ Bland inspires high school girls to pursue STEM careers.

[Summer 2024] Over the summer, MPN CEO CJ Bland spoke at a STEM event, aimed at high school girls from across the country to inspire them to pursue careers in STEM professions. The program has served over 500 girls across the United States, mostly from underrepresented communities. Bland discussed how his own STEM journey transformed his life and the steps he took to reach the heights he is at now. His trajectory from his early life’s struggles to his many degrees and career accolades was one of extraordinary growth, illustrating how perseverance and education can bring great success. Bland also detailed his wife’s own STEM journey, using the theme “Believe, Achieve, & Succeed” to encourage the girls in all that they do. He also participated in a Q&A at the end, answering any questions they had about STEM and education.
