"Black undergraduate enrollment increased significantly from 2000-2010, but experienced a decline from 2010-2018. Encouraging Black enrollment requires additional resources to combat systemic disadvantages Black students face, making it more difficult for them to both attend and complete a college education.
To address the needs of current and future Black students, colleges and universities continue to provide resources, including social clubs, organizations, and career-oriented assistance programs. Black students can also network with alumni, explore opportunities for employment, and find funding to further their education."
