Serves as a liaison for U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and the Division of Finance, Corporate Management Control (DOF CMC) audits and reviews within the client's area of program responsibility.
Prepares, reviews and comments on draft audit reports and recommendations, and coordinates the resolution of outstanding issues and management responses which are often complex information security issues and require sophisticated multiple platform technical solutions.
Plans and executes internal control reviews and process improvement reviews of CIOO's IT, privacy and cybersecurity operations, general support systems and major applications, which are conducted by interdisciplinary teams using structured review techniques.
Works with CIOO program managers to test and otherwise validate that completed corrective actions address audit and internal control program recommendations. This includes preparing closure packages for review for closure by the Office of Risk Management and Internal Control and the OIG.

1. Knowledge of federal information technology, privacy and cybersecurity audits to plan, develop, implement, and maintain programs, policies, and procedures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems, networks, and data.
2. Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles, laws, regulations, and policies sufficient to ensure coordination and/or collaboration on security and privacy activities.
3. Knowledge of federal and corporate information technology and cybersecurity and privacy policies, principles, practices, techniques, and methods.
