Department Summary

As such, the Chief Procurement Officer is the primary contracting and procurement officer for the University of Oregon.
PCS is a fast-paced, high-volume workplace that places a premium on the ability to: (1) find ways to reduce enterprise costs and/or improve enterprise operational effectiveness related to procurement and contracting; (2) avoid or solve problems by developing practical solutions informed by best practices, strategic planning, legal advice, and policy objectives, as well as political, public relations, and programmatic considerations; (3) manage University projects that have enterprise contracting and procurement components; and (4) educate campus stakeholders and conduct outreach to the business community, including Disadvantaged Business Entities (DBEs).
Position Summary

This position works independently and is expected to carry out University-level contract assignments with minimal oversight from their supervisor. They are responsible for University-wide custom contracts and financial commitments which have potentially serious impacts if managed improperly. Since they act on management's behalf to carry out contract assignments and manage projects, they will interact with individuals at all levels of the organization. A strong ability to demonstrate inclusivity, empathy, tact, and diplomacy is therefore necessary.
This position will have the authority to sign legal instruments with third parties that legally bind the university, up to a maximum limit of $500,000.
Additionally, the University Contracts Administrator will serve as the primary contract administrator for a Regional Business Hub or PCS, as assigned. As the primary contract administrator for a Regional Business Hub or PCS, the University Contracts Administrator will track contract compliance, manage the contract life cycle, and track vendor performance to contracts for non-construction related goods and services. Additionally, the University Contracts Administrator will act as the primary project manager for informal and formal complex, high risk public solicitation events. The University Contracts Administrator will also conduct requirements gathering for sourcing/solicitation events and complex non-construction related contracts for PCS or Regional Business Hub customers.
Minimum Requirements

General Statement
The Chief Data Officer (CDO) under the guidance of the Vice President for Information Technology provides strategic oversight of the University’s data strategy and data analysis.
The CDO’s primary focus areas are governance, innovation, analytics, and operations. The CDO achieves these goals through the management of University Data and Analytics. The office implements approaches to data analysis, data architecture, data management, and institutional research.
The CDO works closely with university leadership along with other departments and offices and acts as a conduit from leadership and others in the institution to identify appropriate analytics to address institutional questions and communicate results to the President and other audiences.
The CDO oversees UDA staff, including operations analysts and data scientists who: design and conduct complex analyses of the University and other pertinent external data; regularly interact with and communicate analytical outcomes to University decision-makers, including the President, Vice Presidents, Deans, faculty, staff, and students; develop innovative methods for conveying information; disseminate official results to appropriate agencies/audiences.
Duties and Responsibilities

General Statement
The Chief Data Officer (CDO) under the guidance of the Vice President for Information Technology provides strategic oversight of the University’s data strategy and data analysis.
The CDO’s primary focus areas are governance, innovation, analytics, and operations. The CDO achieves these goals through the management of University Data and Analytics. The office implements approaches to data analysis, data architecture, data management, and institutional research.
The CDO works closely with university leadership along with other departments and offices and acts as a conduit from leadership and others in the institution to identify appropriate analytics to address institutional questions and communicate results to the President and other audiences.
The CDO oversees UDA staff, including operations analysts and data scientists who: design and conduct complex analyses of the University and other pertinent external data; regularly interact with and communicate analytical outcomes to University decision-makers, including the President, Vice Presidents, Deans, faculty, staff, and students; develop innovative methods for conveying information; disseminate official results to appropriate agencies/audiences.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Leads and guides the University Data and Analytics office. • Responsible for governance structures for data and analysis. • Responsible for developing and continuing a strategic vision for data at MSU. • Direct the collection, analysis, and presentation of institutional and/or comparative data used to support and enhance policy formation and decision-making. • Direct reporting of all institutional data required by Federal, State, and accreditation agencies, the Board of Regents, and by campus administrators and committees. • Champion the integration of data sources and develop increased access to data to drive the mission of the University. • Facilitate the analysis of data as a strategic partner for leadership. • Contribute expertise in supporting student success efforts and initiatives. • Contributes expertise in supporting institutional diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. • Increase the ability for key data stewards/stakeholders to effectively use data including areas such as enrollment management, space management, strategic priority action plans, annual operating budgets, institutional effectiveness and efficiency, faculty and staff effectiveness, and assessment of return on program investments. • Collaborate with the MSU System campuses Chancellors and CEOs related to a four-campus need for data analysis and integration. • Consult on survey design and analysis for campus constituents.

General Statement
The CUI Information Systems Security Manager supports Montana State University’s IT mission by developing and accessing compliant IT capabilities for Research contracts containing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) IT requirements in accordance with Executive Order 13556, 32 CFR 2002, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS), the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) or other government entities who execute research contracts with MSU.
The CUI Information Systems Security Manager will remain current with training and guidance provided by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) as well as all requirements levied by federal government entities associated with MSU research contracts.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position will support stakeholders by developing and providing a compliant IT framework, processes, procedures, and resources required to work with CUI, including working with IT staff, researchers, and key stakeholders to design compliant solutions in order to meet functional needs; and direct efforts for support and troubleshooting of CUI IT issues.
This position will also work in required governmental systems of record to provide federal and state entities responses to compliance inquiries and to report compliance with established standards under NIST SP 800-171, the Cybersecurity Maturation Model Certification (CMMC) Program, and any newly established standards for information protection levied by research contracts or federal law.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, tasks such as the following: • Provide expertise and coordinate the development of University Research information security technical standards, guidelines, and procedures, based on a recognized framework of best practices and in support of Montana State University policies and regulations, such as Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53. • Contribute CUI cybersecurity knowledge and information to assist with risk analysis and risk management activities, and security and compliance reviews. • Prepare and maintain system security plans (SSPs) and plans of action and milestones (POA&M) for various CUI IT capabilities supporting research projects. • In conjunction with the MSU Research Security Program, review research proposals with CUI elements and requirements, and develop contract-specific CUI Information Technology capabilities, as required. • Develop and implement the management of compliant CUI IT systems to effectively manage processes around user onboarding, offboarding and maintaining appropriate permissions for access to CUI IT resources, working in conjunction with the Office of Research Security and UIT’s Research CIO and team. • Develop processes for appropriate oversight and management of all CUI endpoints including inventory management, patching, auditing, inspecting, upgrading, troubleshooting and supporting necessary requirements for any endpoint accessing CUI information systems or otherwise processing CUI for any research contract. • Develop and maintain processes to manage user access and configuration for IT Information Systems and Servers and manage CUI IT user accounts and ensure that users with access are properly trained and using the resource in accordance with Technology Control Plans. • Develop or review Technology Control Plans and other required CUI documents in coordination with the MSU Research Security Program pertaining to Information Technology as needed. • Develop streamlined processes and procedures involving stakeholders to expedite training, access, oversight, and support for internal and external customers. • Conduct site-visits, inspections and audits at locations where MSU works with CUI to ensure IT security practices, procedures, policies, and guidance are being followed. • Utilize the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) and other government or 3rd party systems of record to develop and provide reports and perform necessary actions to achieve or maintain compliance standards. • Actively remain current and knowledgeable on existing and newly emerging Federal Government standards, policies, regulations and laws pertaining to CUI Information Technology management and security control requirements. Secure industry-standard Information Assurance certifications appropriate to the position as required by management. • Perform supervisory functions directly and indirectly with Research IT employees in various departments across MSU. Oversee and direct the deployment of CUI policies, guidance and procedures, and work with centers, institutes and departments to ensure consistent implementation of Research CIO’s guidance for CUI within Research contracts.

General Statement
The CUI Information Systems Security Manager supports Montana State University’s IT mission by developing and accessing compliant IT capabilities for Research contracts containing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) IT requirements in accordance with Executive Order 13556, 32 CFR 2002, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplements (DFARS), the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) or other government entities who execute research contracts with MSU.
The CUI Information Systems Security Manager will remain current with training and guidance provided by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and the Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO) as well as all requirements levied by federal government entities associated with MSU research contracts.
Duties and Responsibilities
This position will support stakeholders by developing and providing a compliant IT framework, processes, procedures, and resources required to work with CUI, including working with IT staff, researchers, and key stakeholders to design compliant solutions in order to meet functional needs; and direct efforts for support and troubleshooting of CUI IT issues.
This position will also work in required governmental systems of record to provide federal and state entities responses to compliance inquiries and to report compliance with established standards under NIST SP 800-171, the Cybersecurity Maturation Model Certification (CMMC) Program, and any newly established standards for information protection levied by research contracts or federal law.

The individual will lead a team of accountants to record the revenues of the Kennedy Center (including affiliated/related entities) and other financial activity in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), and other regulatory requirements as applicable to facilitate the organization’s internal and external reporting needs. The Director of Revenue Accounting and Special Projects will support the preparation of the organization’s audited financial statements; the schedule of expenditures of Federal Awards; Forms 990 and 990T; financial reports to the Board of Trustees, donors or grantors; and periodic ad hoc reporting, research, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. The individual will assist the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Accounting with the development of and conformity with corporate practices, policies and procedures in an effort to promote greater efficacy and transparency around the Center’s revenues. This position will oversee the work of up to five direct reports and coordinate with others on the Finance Team in fulfillment of this key accounting function. Additionally, the Director of Revenue Accounting and Special Projects will frequently collaborate and communicate with others outside the Finance Department. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the staff responsible for the Center’s contribution and box office accounting and reconciliation processes. Supervise the regular journal transfer from Tessitura of contribution and box office information into the Finance ERP. Ensure proper controls are in place and operating effectively to record these revenues in compliance with GAAP and to meet management’s internal and external reporting needs. Collect and organize documentation in support of the proper accounting for transactions. Resolve all erroneous entries, open items, and reconciliation issues with relevant staff from the Development department in a timely manner, preferably within 30 days. Review and post regular journal entries and supervise preparation of staff reconciliations as a part of the monthly closing procedures. Oversee the monthly accounting of endowment and board designated funds including additions, spend, and changes in the share of endowment investment asset market values. Support administration of the spending policy in keeping with the Investment Policy Statement and Board action. Effectively and efficiently account for the investments of the endowment with external servicer providers, fiduciaries, and/or endowment software. When required, review new endowment agreements for language, payment schedules, proposed restrictions, and feasibility issues. Track cash due to and from the endowment, and project changes in months ahead. Perform routine analysis, including calculations, budgets, and projections. Work with programmers to identify activities that meet restricted revenue purposes. Oversee federal and private grant accounting and reporting function staffed by the Senior Grants Accounting Manager who review charges against the grant for allowable and unallowable costs, track the Federal source for allowable costs, work with Programming and Development personnel during pre-Award, Award, Implementation, and Close out phases of the Grant Cycle, maintain the organization’s Grants Administration Architecture (SAM, G5, Grants.gov, etc.), and lead the institution’s annual Indirect Cost Recovery Rate negotiation process. Oversee compliance with the Center’s capitalization policy, maintenance of fixed asset and depreciation subsidiary ledgers, evaluation of repairs and maintenance expense, and support FP&A’s efforts to create and stand up a capital budget. Manage debt activity and amortization schedules, to include recording all related financial transactions and preparing financial reports. Ensure compliance with all debt related reporting requirements and covenants. Manage compliance with the Treasury Collateral Management and Monitoring regulations and reporting requirements. Lead the Revenues and Special Projects team with and contribute to the annual financial statement preparation and audit, the uniform guidance audit (compliance with Federal regulations), and preparation of the Center’s and its affiliates’ Forms 990 and 990T; financial reports to management, the Board of Trustees, donors or grantors; and periodic ad hoc reporting, research, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. Develop revenue recognition and capitalization policies and procedures and train staff on the above functions as needed. This position will oversee the work of up to five direct reports and coordinate with others on the Finance Team in fulfillment of this key accounting function. Additionally, the Director of Revenue Accounting and Special Projects will frequently collaborate and communicate with others outside the Finance Department. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the staff responsible for the Center’s contribution and box office accounting and reconciliation processes. Supervise the regular journal transfer from Tessitura of contribution and box office information into the Finance ERP. Ensure proper controls are in place and operating effectively to record these revenues in compliance with GAAP and to meet management’s internal and external reporting needs. Collect and organize documentation in support of the proper accounting for transactions. Resolve all erroneous entries, open items, and reconciliation issues with relevant staff from the Development department in a timely manner, preferably within 30 days. Review and post regular journal entries and supervise preparation of staff reconciliations as a part of the monthly closing procedures. Oversee the monthly accounting of endowment and board designated funds including additions, spend, and changes in the share of endowment investment asset market values. Support administration of the spending policy in keeping with the Investment Policy Statement and Board action. Effectively and efficiently account for the investments of the endowment with external servicer providers, fiduciaries, and/or endowment software. When required, review new endowment agreements for language, payment schedules, proposed restrictions, and feasibility issues. Track cash due to and from the endowment, and project changes in months ahead. Perform routine analysis, including calculations, budgets, and projections. Work with programmers to identify activities that meet restricted revenue purposes. Oversee federal and private grant accounting and reporting function staffed by the Senior Grants Accounting Manager who review charges against the grant for allowable and unallowable costs, track the Federal source for allowable costs, work with Programming and Development personnel during pre-Award, Award, Implementation, and Close out phases of the Grant Cycle, maintain the organization’s Grants Administration Architecture (SAM, G5, Grants.gov, etc.), and lead the institution’s annual Indirect Cost Recovery Rate negotiation process. Oversee compliance with the Center’s capitalization policy, maintenance of fixed asset and depreciation subsidiary ledgers, evaluation of repairs and maintenance expense, and support FP&A’s efforts to create and stand up a capital budget. Manage debt activity and amortization schedules, to include recording all related financial transactions and preparing financial reports. Ensure compliance with all debt related reporting requirements and covenants. Manage compliance with the Treasury Collateral Management and Monitoring regulations and reporting requirements. Lead the Revenues and Special Projects team with and contribute to the annual financial statement preparation and audit, the uniform guidance audit (compliance with Federal regulations), and preparation of the Center’s and its affiliates’ Forms 990 and 990T; financial reports to management, the Board of Trustees, donors or grantors; and periodic ad hoc reporting, research, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders. Develop revenue recognition and capitalization policies and procedures and train staff on the above functions as needed. Determine the most optimal methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate the work of senior accountants or staff accountants as directed by Finance leadership. Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or an active CPA license is required. Experience: At least 10 years of private or 5 – 7 years of public not-for-profit accounting experience with 5 – 10 years of progressive experience with contributions, endowments, grant compliance, restricted net assets, and tax preparation required. Performing arts industry experience is a plus. Critical skills: Strong Excel and other Microsoft Office/Teams experience. Good written-oral communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in use of general ledger applications. Candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the DMV area. About the Position:
Mechanics Hall is searching for a seasoned executive level professional for a strategic, skilled, and passionate approach to lead and strengthen the organization’s ability to maintain the historic property and continue to successfully serve the community. Reporting to and in partnership with the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director role is vital to overseeing the organization’s vision, growth, and operational and financial health, working closely with the board, staff, and community to ensure the success of the venue’s mission.
The Executive Director (ED) is the chief executive officer responsible for the leadership, strategic planning, and overall management of the non-profit performance venue, which also serves as a beloved community gathering place. The ED ensures that the organization achieves its mission. Reporting to and in partnership with the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director will oversee financial management, program development, event operations, building preservation and maintenance, sales and development efforts, marketing, and community relations.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Planning
• Develop and execute strategic plans that advance the venue’s mission, objectives, and impact. • Lead and inspire staff, volunteers, and the Board of Trustees, fostering a collaborative and transparent environment. • Evaluate the organization’s performance regularly, providing recommendations and implementing adjustments as needed. • Keep the Board informed of organizational developments, challenges, and successes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Operational Management
• Manage day-to-day operations with a staff of 15 and 5 direct reports, including financial management, program management, event scheduling, facilities preservation and maintenance, and administrative functions. • Manage the organizations’ budget, monitoring income and expenses, and adjusting plans to align with financial goals. Guide financial planning, budgeting, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainability. • Establish and enforce policies and procedures to improve organizational efficiency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Manage vendor relationships, review, and approve contracts, and oversee maintenance and improvement of facilities. • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including grant writing, prospecting, gift solicitation and sponsorship development for individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, and government sources. • Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, sponsors, and community partners to secure sustainable funding. • Recruit and engage the variety of volunteers needed to maintain Hall activities.
Community Engagement and Marketing
• Establish a role as a respected leader in the community. • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, promoting its mission and programs to diverse audiences. • Develop partnerships within community organizations and stakeholders to enhance the organization’s outreach and relevance. • Lead marketing and communication strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and website updates, to promote events and programs. • Represent the organization at community events, networking with potential partners, donors, and attendees.
Board Development and Support
• Work with the 30-member Board of Trustees to support governance, facilitate Board meetings, and keep members informed. • Assist with board recruitment, orientation, and training to strengthen governance and leadership. • Collaborate with the Board to ensure alignment on mission, strategy, and operational priorities.
Key Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a leadership role within a non-profit, arts, music, or performance venue setting. • Proven experience in fundraising, financial management, and staff leadership. • Strong understanding of the event and hospitality industry and of the performing arts sector with a commitment to community access and enrichment. • Exceptional communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills. • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial data, and ensure fiscal health. • Visionary, strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team. • Demonstrated ability to manage and empower a highly skilled and widely diverse staff. • Experienced in community engagement, donor relations, and partnership development. • Proficiency in fundraising software, project management tools, and marketing platforms is preferred. • Passionate about historic preservation and value historic perspective. • Commitment to inclusion in all aspects of the organization. • Collaborative, adaptable, and resourceful in addressing challenges and opportunities. • Bachelor’s degree in Arts Administration, Non-Profit Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

Lower School Part-Time Extended Day Staff Position
Brentwood School, a vibrant and diverse K-12 independent school, is seeking a part-time Extended Day staff member to help oversee Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students. We are looking for individuals from independent, public, private, or charter schools, with experience in camps or other outdoor student activities. Please note that this is a part-time position for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. The hours of this position are 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The position is available beginning March 1, 2025.
The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a large group of students in supervised free play, as well as have the confidence in leading group games. Some higher education in elementary education or camp supervisory experience is desirable. Qualified candidates will be outgoing, fun, and be capable of connecting with children, while keeping safety and fairness as top priority.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Creating an enjoyable experience for students
Assisting and collaborating with Extended Day Staff Member partner to ensure that the program runs smoothly

Lower School Part-Time Extended Day Staff Position
Brentwood School, a vibrant and diverse K-12 independent school, is seeking a part-time Extended Day staff member to help oversee Kindergarten through Fifth Grade students. We are looking for individuals from independent, public, private, or charter schools, with experience in camps or other outdoor student activities. Please note that this is a part-time position for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. The hours of this position are 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The position is available beginning March 1, 2025.
The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing a large group of students in supervised free play, as well as have the confidence in leading group games. Some higher education in elementary education or camp supervisory experience is desirable. Qualified candidates will be outgoing, fun, and be capable of connecting with children, while keeping safety and fairness as top priority.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Creating an enjoyable experience for students
Assisting and collaborating with Extended Day Staff Member partner to ensure that the program runs smoothly
Assisting in overseeing that students sign in/out of Extended Day
Supervising students in free play
Communicating with parents, school faculty, and staff regarding Extended Day students and procedures
Assisting in setting up snack area and distributing snacks
Cleaning up designated areas

The City of Worcester seeks qualified applicants for a Coordinator of Training and Professional Development for the Executive Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Under the direction of the Chief Equity Officer, this position will play a key role in fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) workplace. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs that advance DEI goals and awareness, and promote professional development. The coordinator will conduct needs assessments, develop training materials, and ensure that training strategies align with the City's priorities to equip employees with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become future leaders who champion diversity, equity, and inclusion. CalOptima Health is seeking a highly motivated an experienced Administrative Fellow to join our team. Under the direction of Executive Leadership (e.g., Chief Executive Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Financial Officer, etc.) the Administrative Fellow (Fellow) will work with key administrative personnel to gain knowledge and experience in the management of CalOptima Health, as well as the broader health care landscape. The Fellow will be assigned to select projects related to the business and operations of CalOptima Health. The Fellow will work directly with the primary preceptor to receive guidance and feedback on projects and opportunities. Over the course of the twelve (12) month fellowship, the Fellow will have the opportunity to formally meet with the CalOptima Health CalTeam senior leaders one-on-one and sit in on executive management meetings while tackling various inter-departmental projects. CalOptima Health is seeking a highly motivated an experienced Administrative Fellow to join our team. Under the direction of Executive Leadership (e.g., Chief Executive Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Financial Officer, etc.) the Administrative Fellow (Fellow) will work with key administrative personnel to gain knowledge and experience in the management of CalOptima Health, as well as the broader health care landscape. The Fellow will be assigned to select projects related to the business and operations of CalOptima Health. The Fellow will work directly with the primary preceptor to receive guidance and feedback on projects and opportunities. Over the course of the twelve (12) month fellowship, the Fellow will have the opportunity to formally meet with the CalOptima Health CalTeam senior leaders one-on-one and sit in on executive management meetings while tackling various inter-departmental projects. While working closely with the CalOptima Health CalTeam, the Fellow will need to use discretion and independent judgment in assessing situations, considering alternatives and determining appropriate courses of action. Throughout the fellowship, the Fellow will gain insight into the inner workings of a large complex health plan organization and how its work is realized in the surrounding community.
The Administrative Fellowship program is a twelve (12) month appointment with a following transition period commencing in July 2025. The program is designed to provide fellows with an educational, interactive and enriching experience that will contribute to their professional development, as well as to their understanding of CalOptima Health and health plan operations. In addition, the program will help create opportunities for fellows to enhance skills in project development, strategic implementation and operations management. Most fellows will experience a balance of project and operational work, with an emphasis on health plan operations.
