The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for two Financial Aid Advisors for the Student Financial Aid and Scholarship department. The Financial Aid Advisor counsels our diverse student and parent population on all aspects of financial aid and scholarship programs, eligibility, budgeting, financial planning strategies, and academic progress. The ideal candidates share responsibility for delivering excellent customer service as a member of a team of advisors. The Financial Aid Advisor processes aid applications, packages financial aid, administers aid programs, and monitors student eligibility within the context of federal, state, and institutional regulations. The position reports to the Director, Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, at the University of Nevada, Reno. The Advisor is responsible for executing assigned program(s) and collaborates with office leadership in fulfilling the unit’s major functions.
