• Under the direction of the President of Woodland Community College, serves as the Chief Instructional Officer for the College, overseeing academic programs and instructional support services. • Provide visionary leadership in the development and implementation of academic programs and initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across all facets of the institution and among a diverse community of managers, faculty, staff, and students. • Collaborate with other college leaders to implement strategic goals and priorities aligned with the college’s mission and values. • Lead the continued development and refinement of guided pathway framework aimed at improving student success and completion. • Work closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to ensure seamless pathways for student progression, transfer, and career readiness. • Work with the College President to develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment and improve persistence rates, particularly among underrepresented and post-traditional student populations. • Analyze enrollment trends, student data, and feedback to identify barriers and opportunities for enhancing student success. • Interpret and analyze pertinent educational laws, legislation, policies, regulations and procedures to determine the impact on the College and to formulate compliance and reporting strategies. • Complete timely and accurate reports at the State, Federal, and local level in the area of responsibility as assigned by the President. • Under the direction of the College President, provide leadership in the preparation of accreditation reporting. • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the instructional division, fostering a culture of belonging and respect. Implement strategies to recruit and retain diverse faculty and staff, and ensure inclusive teaching and learning environments for all students. • Assist in the development, revision and implementation of the College’s Educational Comprehensive Plan (formerly known as Educational Master Plan). Lead the College’s instructional planning and program review to ensure alignment between College and District planning goals and objectives. • Utilize data analytics and assessment tools to inform decision making and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs and services. Monitor key performance indicators related to student outcomes, program quality, and equity metrics. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth among faculty and staff within the instructional division. Provide support and resources for faculty development, pedagogical innovation, and the adoption of best practices in teaching and learning. • Oversee the collegial process to update and maintain College curriculum that meets all state mandates and advances student success. • Ensure the assessment of student learning outcomes and service area outcomes to determine the effectiveness of student learning in instructional programs. • Provide oversight in the preparation of each semester/term class schedule and ensures effective enrollment management. • Actively engage in and support College participatory governance and other collaborative processes, and represent the College on District-wide committees and project teams. • Participate in the hiring, training, management, and evaluation of College managers, faculty, and classified staff. • Oversee and facilitate College faculty coordinator recruitments, interviews, agreements, reviews and evaluations. • Oversee and manage the Instructional operating budgets. • Interpret, ensure compliance with, and help develop provisions of relevant collective bargaining agreements. • Employ appropriate techniques and strategies to resolve disputes and to enhance communication and cooperation within the College. • Review Service Agreements, Grants, and Memoranda of Understanding within the Instruction area and recommend for approval or denial to the College President. • Collaborate with community organizations, K-12 partners, professional organizations, and industry stakeholders to promote educational success and workforce development. • Assist with the campus institutional advancement efforts, including the writing and administration of grants. • Assume other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the College President. • Demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Audio Visual Coordinator
POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the AV Department Manager, the Audio Visual Coordinator’s role is to support the AV team as they service the Foundation’s event and meeting technology needs. The AV Coordinator will field incoming requests. They will assign urgent help desk tickets to available technicians. In this role, the Coordinator will work closely with the AV team and colleagues from other departments to schedule and plan various in-person, virtual and hybrid events. They will work with the events team and meeting organizers to ascertain AV needs for events and assist the AV team with preparing for those events. They will also assist with meeting kickoffs and assist with live events as needed. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in technology who is looking to expand their skill set.
Our team's goal is to help our scientific colleagues maximize their ability to collaborate and communicate through the effective use of technology.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Collaborate with policy makers to establish new and improve existing AV administrative practices and procedures. • Log and compress footage of lectures and conferences. • Post event editing, management and distribution of video files. • Provide routine maintenance and storage of microphones, cameras, projectors, lighting and sound equipment. • Assist technicians during live events as needed. • When necessary, investigate reported issues and perform simple hands-on troubleshooting if necessary. • Work independently on assigned projects. • Other AV projects and responsibilities when assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education • A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is recommended, as well as at least 2–4 years of experience in an administrative role or in the AV field. • Prefer a candidate with an interest in learning new technologies

Grants Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY Launched in 2005, the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) is a research campaign within the Simons Foundation’s (SF) overall suite of programs whose mission is to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders by funding innovative research of the greatest quality and relevance. The SFARI Grants Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support for pre- and post-award activities to the SFARI portfolio of grants. The Administrator will oversee the process of contacting grantees and their administrators to obtain required reporting for the grants team, and in this position, they must be well versed in SF policies and procedures, must work independently and must provide long-term ownership of grantmaking processes. POSITION SUMMARY Launched in 2005, the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) is a research campaign within the Simons Foundation’s (SF) overall suite of programs whose mission is to improve the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of autism spectrum disorders by funding innovative research of the greatest quality and relevance. The SFARI Grants Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support for pre- and post-award activities to the SFARI portfolio of grants. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administration, banking, public administration, or urban/regional planning and three years of professional level related work experience including a minimum of one year of housing program administration; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience. Successful completion of all applicable background checks pre-hire and ongoing are required. Position Summary This is a responsible professional, technical and supervisory position in the Alachua County Department of Growth Management. An employee assigned to this classification performs responsible professional, technical and supervisory work coordinating Alachua County housing programs and activities, including implementation of the County's State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program (SHIP) as well as coordination of the County's Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and related activities. Work is performed under the direction of a higher level supervisor and is reviewed through conferences, reports, and the observation of results obtained. Examples of Duties ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS This is an emergency essential classification. Upon declaration of a disaster and/or emergency, all employees in this classification are required to work. Prepares recommendations for housing programs. Prepares grant applications and contract materials for housing programs. Prepares and recommends County policies and procedures for housing programs. Establishes and maintains liaison with local, state and federal officials in the housing field. Coordinates County SHIP program activities with local public/private partnerships. Supervises and coordinates the activities of subordinate employees including determining work procedures and schedules; issuing instructions and assigning duties; reviewing work; recommending personnel actions; conducting performance reviews; and conducting departmental training and orientation. Conducts feasibility analyses and makes recommendations for housing development projects. Coordinates training classes for prospective home buyers. Manages SHIP and CDBG funded contracts with outside agencies. Processes reimbursement requests from outside agencies under contract with the Department. Monitors outside agencies for compliance with SHIP program requirements. Provides technical support for other housing providers. Promotes County housing programs to target groups and neighborhoods. We’re searching for a Real Property Coordinator to join our team and provide necessary support in the acquisition of land in the Long Island Sound watershed to restore and protect clean water and thriving wildlife habitats. In this position, you will:
Assist with applications for proposed land acquisition projects.
Perform and/or review property inspections, appraisals, field inspections, surveys and title searches.
Negotiate with sellers, respond to inquiries, and attend meetings with landowners and stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, maintain files and databases, and utilize GIS maps for analysis.
The successful candidate will have:
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
Real Estate experience in two or more of the following areas: appraisal review, title research, clearance and/or closings, negotiation, contract drafting, field inspections, mapping, and land surveying.
Knowledge of or strong interest in environmental issues and land conservation.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to use and master ArcGIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders with different interests and backgrounds.
This full-time NEIWPCC position will work 7.5 hours per day and is based in Stony Brook, NY. Duties will be performed largely in an office setting with travel, for which a valid driver’s license and private means of transportation is required. After six months, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, subject to approval and program needs. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
