Job Description

At Healio.com, we are passionate about healthcare and committed to providing news, information and education to health care professionals. Healio.com is growing fast in the healthcare space, and we need an SEO Specialist to join our awesome in-house SEO team to help us improve our rankings on Google, increase organic search traffic, and build the Healio brand. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Use SEO Tools like Moz to identify and implement on-page SEO opportunities, including page titles, meta descriptions, alt text, etc.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, internal linking, etc. to improve organic search engine ranking
  • Monitor Google Search Console for errors, broken links, crawling issues, manual actions, etc. and work with development team to fix as needed
  • Track competitor rankings, domain authority scores, algorithm changes, and ongoing SEO best practices
  • Benchmark and share monthly SEO performance metrics, brand mentions, and link building reports
  • Work with the team on ad hoc SEO projects like link building, video optimization, sitemaps, podcasts, page speed, etc.
  • Perform keyword research to help editorial teams develop new content

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of experience working with SEO campaigns
  • Experience with basic SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog
  • Understanding of Google search engines, ranking factors, and ranking algorithms
  • Proficiency with Excel and website analytics tools (Google Analytics)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

Bonus points include:

  • Google Analytics IQ
  • Experience with Sitecore
