Technical Support Consultant

The Technical Support Consultant I assists members of the University community (students, staff, and faculty) with a wide range of computing questions in person or via telephone/email documenting all communications in the University's help request tracking system. The consultant must use sound judgment when analyzing client questions in order to identify problems and determine the appropriate strategies for troubleshooting these problems. Consultants will be required to listen effectively, diagnose issues quickly, build rapport with customers and ask questions to identify needs. The ideal candidate must be customer service oriented with a genuine desire to help customers.
