We are seeking resumes for a Enterprise Security Engineer.

Position Purpose Summary:          
This position plans, designs, procures, installs, maintains, manages, coordinates, and integrates network hardware and software infrastructure components required to support Enterprise Security and Identity Management within Packaging Corporation of America.

Principal Accountabilities:
 

  • Performing analysis of Enterprise Security needs and contributes to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software.
  • Maintain and configure security systems, e.g. network and host based Intrusion Prevention Systems, firewalls, VPN connections, antivirus protection, malicious code defense, encryption, vulnerability scanning and other security technologies.
  • Development of security standards and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a security incident response process.
  • Develop and maintain the F5 LTM, F5 ASM, F5 APM and DNS production environments.
  • Design and implement corporate wide Identity Access Management initiatives to automate the provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts and to enable Single Sign On across Active Directory and business applications.
  • Perform internal audits to identify security issues, system vulnerability and risks, and lead the development and implementation of mitigation plans to ensure asset protection.
  • Interfaces with Network Services groups and/or providers to insure timely problem resolution and required level of support is provided.
  • Design, implement and document computer forensics services to include evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis and data recovery.
  • Performs other duties as required.

As a member of the Network Service Department the Enterprise Security Engineer is responsible for knowing and following policies and procedures of the company; for sharing information that would benefit other members of the team; and for finding ways to improve the delivery of service to our customers.  This person is expected to continually strive to strengthen our business philosophy of meeting needs, exceeding expectations for our customersThis includes supporting our commitment to service which involves doing what's right for our customers, focusing on strategies that add value and support growth, and keeping the promises that we make.

Requirements:
 

  • Network Discipline strongly prefers Information Systems/MIS, Computer Science, or Networking degree or associated experience/certifications.
  • 3+ years work experience, or advanced degree, and / or superior technical knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with multiple security technologies Anti-virus/malware, Firewalls, Security Gateways, Vulnerability management, IPS/IDS, VPNs, DLP, etc,
  • Functional understanding of diverse set of networked applications requiring application traffic management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP services.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP and routing protocols.
  • Experience deploying and/or managing enterprise level identity management technologies.
  • Experience with F5 iRules, ASM, APM, LTM and other application delivery and load balancing technologies.
