The Monterey County, Information Technology Department (ITD) consists of six (6) operational Divisions: Administration; Applications; Customer Support; Enterprise Operations; Infrastructure; and Security. ITD resources are operated and maintained in a manner that supports high availability for utilization and minimizes the risk of business interruption. ITD's focus is on developing a sustainable, customer focused environment to enhance and improve the quality of technology services used by County departments for the benefit of all Monterey County residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Applications Division of ITD is currently seeking Software Programmer Analyst candidates with entry and/or intermediate skill levels, familiarity of the software development life cycle, and knowledge of current programming languages and relational databases such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Xamarin, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for software development, maintenance, and support work, and is interested in learning and developing new solutions in a team environment. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team that supports in-house custom applications, enterprise applications, and mobile apps.
