Starting Salary Range: $85,000 - $115,000/annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves developing and maintaining the security of data and systems as the primary responsibility of the position. Plans, designs, develops, implements and maintains systems and programs to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability of data and systems.

Applies advanced IT security concepts and campus objectives to resolve broad and/or highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Initiates, manages, documents, and completes projects to install, maintain, and/or upgrade security solutions at both the departmental and campus-wide levels.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or equivalent experience / training.

• Advanced interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.

• Advanced experience using IT security systems and tools.

• Demonstrated skills applying security controls to computer software and hardware.

• Demonstrated skill at administering complex security controls and configurations to computer hardware, software and networks.
