The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau seeks to hire a Media Relations & Promotions Coordinator. The incumbent will:
Position Summary: Assist with major events in compiling committee rosters, expediting sponsorship material, organizing meetings and being an immediate contact for related issues and expediting incoming fulfillment requests.
Provides in-house and on-site assistance with familiarization and sightseeing tours.
Assists with distributions of promotional products and collateral material internally and externally. Collects data for and writes bi-weekly PR Alert newsletter.
Stays up-to-date on destination.
Accurately forwards media inquiries to appropriate market manager.
Files major clips and copies to members.
Maintains database for Members and PR Leads and works with international and domestic PR firms to assemble monthly PR Clipping & Activity Report.
Provides monthly, quarterly and executive reports.
Works alongside AVP for Social Media communication and postings.
