Job Description

 

The Associate Director will assist in the planning and implementation of a fundraising campaign and events for the College of the Arts & Sciences. This position is also directly responsible for managing a portfolio of at least 150 prospects and reports to the Director of Advancement. A competitive salary package includes opportunity to earn incentive pay as additional income based on exceeding performance metrics. 
  
The Institutional Advancement office is currently raising funds for the university’s Centennial Campaign, an unprecedented effort to raise substantial new resources for Kent State’s students, faculty and programs. Kent State completed its first major capital campaign in 2003, surpassing a $100-million goal by $22 million.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; three years of fundraising and/or sales experience. Skill in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.  Higher Education fundraising preferred.
