Priority Health is searching for a proactive leader to direct and develop government provider operations.  The Director, Network Development for State Programs will be responsible for fortifying the statewide provider network by continuous evaluation of availability, accessibility, cost-effectiveness, compensation accuracy, clinical-outcome effectiveness and efficiency. This position will provide strategic input for Medicaid expansion and will oversee all aspects of staff management.
 

The perfect candidate will be a combination of progressive thought, strategic method and significant experience in provider contracting, government programs, service and new market development. Proven leadership, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will be required for success.
 

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree required.
 Seven plus years of experience in managed care with an emphasis on provider contracting, government programs, service and new market development.
 

Preferred Qualifications:
 Master’s degree preferred.
 Proven ability to manage people and resources effectively.
 Ability to work on complex projects and bring to successful conclusion.
 Ability to work across organizational boundaries with all levels of staff, including senior executives, directors, managers and professional staff.
