Juris Doctor degree required and 5 years experience in the practice of law. Current license to practice law in the state of Iowa. Competence in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. Ability to identify and review relevant caselaw, statutory, and regulatory requirements and apply these requirements to business situations. Competence in advising business clients regarding legal requirements and risks in a collaborative work environment. Ability to communicate with other ACT personnel and external parties through strong, organized writing and verbal skills. Strong organizational skills, including management of projects and workload and setting goals and priorities. Ability to determine practical solutions to complicated problems. Capable of managing stress effectively. Competence in computer usage and standard software including Microsoft® Windows, word-processing, spreadsheet, project management, and database software.
