The Construction Manager will be assigned to the Highlands Ethanol Project. The Construction Manager will be a leader in applying strong HSSE and quality assurance approaches to all activities. Responsible for onsite / in-field coordinating, managing, ensuring, monitoring and reporting on the field safety, quality, production and technical performance of multiple subcontractors and service providers.
This role currently requires 100% travel from candidate’s home location.
As a part of the Biofuels PS&O Project Team, this position is designated as 100% travel, relocation is not currently available. The expectation is that at a minimum, you will be traveling to Spartanburg, SC for approximately the next 10 months until transition into Highlands County, Florida where you will work for the duration of the project. There will also be travel between the two locations during the transition.
The intention is to make a final decision on the home base of the project team in the foreseeable future, and it is currently anticipated to be located in the Southeast US.
Once the project team base has been identified, relocation packages will be discussed. Additional projects are planned in the future as well.

Job Requirements
• Minimum of a BS in Engineering
• Construction Manager experience (minimum of 10 years) including a major project in excess of $150 million.• Ability to participate in the development of and adhere to project budgets, plans and strategies.• Solid understanding of BPs Major Projects Common Process, Capital Value Process, team building and effective conflict resolution.• Experience in safety execution plans, job safety analysis and safe lifting practices.• Experience with project execution plans, MOC systems, constructability value improving practices, inspection test plans, detailed construction schedules, pre-commissioning packages and as-built documentation.• Experience with providing input to HAZID, HAZOP, Inherently Safe Design, LOPA and FMEA.• Knowledge of the engineering standards associated with Process Safety Management and Integrity Management.• Experienced in delivering key assurance processes in the following areas: Major Projects, Integrity Management and Project Health, Safety, Security, Environmental Reviews (PHSSER)• Self motivated, accustomed to being in positions of responsibility and accountability with good planning and communication skills.
